Redmi Note 13 repair Vienna: screen, battery and charging port for 4G and 5G

Since early 2024 the Redmi Note 13 has been one of the best-selling entry-level phones in Austria, and it comes in two versions: the 4G model with a 108-megapixel camera and the 5G model with slightly different internals. Both have a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 120 Hz and a 5,000 mAh battery. The distinction matters for the repair, because the screens of the two models are not interchangeable; please tell us when booking whether your phone is 4G or 5G. After a drop the screen stays black, shows coloured lines or the display no longer responds to touch even though the glass looks intact. On the Redmi Note 13 the glass and the AMOLED panel are bonded, so replacing the glass alone is not possible; we replace the complete unit from EUR 149. If the battery drains fast, the indicator jumps from 30 to 5 percent or the phone gets warm while charging, the cell has used up its cycles. Redmi Note 13 not charging or charging slowly

Before booking a repair: try another cable and charger, and shine a torch into the USB-C port. Often there is only lint inside, which the cleaning for EUR 20 takes care of. If the Redmi Note 13 only charges at 5 watts, the charging stops or the cable has to be held in a certain position, the port is worn out; the replacement costs EUR 69.

After a drop the 108-megapixel camera sometimes only delivers blurry pictures or no picture at all, in which case we replace the module for EUR 79. A battery replacement for EUR 79 clearly makes sense, and a screen from EUR 149 is worth it too if the phone is otherwise fine: you keep your data and settings and do not have to set anything up again.
