How does the online booking at Reparo work?

Can I book even if I don't know exactly what's broken?

Yes. A general description like "black screen" or "won't switch on" is enough. We run a diagnosis first (€25 — waived on repair) before any work begins.

Is there a walk-in option — can I just drop my phone off?

No, we don't accept walk-ins. You book online or by phone and we collect the device in Vienna. If you're outside Vienna you can mail it in — our send-in service covers all of Austria.

How does pickup and delivery in Vienna work?

After the online booking we ring to confirm the pickup time. We collect at your home or office anywhere in Vienna, repair at our workshop and bring the device back to you afterwards. No trip required.

Do you offer send-in for the rest of Austria?

Yes. If you're in Salzburg, Graz, Linz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Bregenz or anywhere outside Vienna, you can mail the device in. We return it insured. Contact us first so we can confirm the address and packaging.

How much does the diagnosis cost?

Diagnosis is €25. It is waived in full as soon as you go ahead with the repair — you pay only the repair price. The diagnosis fee is not added on top.

Do I get a confirmation after I book?

Yes. Shortly after the online booking we call you to confirm the appointment and walk through pickup time, expected repair duration and any questions about the fault.

Do you book in English?

Yes. Every part of the process — booking, calls, pickup, repair, return — runs in English. We're used to working with expats, diplomats, UN/OPEC staff and Vienna International School families.

Can I book a PS5 repair too?

Absolutely. PS5 repairs — including HDMI port replacement, overheating cleaning, disc drive and controller stick drift — can be booked directly through the form. PS5 HDMI repair starts at €89.

What if the repair isn't possible or not worth it?

If a repair is technically impossible or doesn't make sense compared to the device value, we tell you honestly after diagnosis. You then decide how to proceed. In that case only the €25 diagnosis fee applies.

Will my data stay on the device?

For standard jobs like screen or battery replacement your data normally stays untouched. For complex jobs (board-level work, water damage) we recommend a backup before sending the device, as we can't guarantee data integrity in those cases.

Can I also book by phone?

Yes. call us and we book the appointment with you directly. Useful if you have questions about the fault or aren't sure which repair you need.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Short-notice slots are often available the same or next working day. For express repairs we recommend booking as early as possible so we can coordinate pickup and return smoothly.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and the major debit and credit cards. For send-in repairs we can arrange invoice payment in advance. Get in touch for details.

How long after booking will my phone be repaired?

For most standard repairs — screen, battery, charging port — the actual repair takes 2–3 hours. Counting pickup and delivery, most Vienna customers get the device back the same or next working day.
