Faulty but never opened, it is from 25 €. Whether the case has USB-C or Lightning makes no difference to the price. After two or three years, what lowers the amount on the Pro 2 is mainly the shorter battery life of the earbuds, followed by a scratched case.

Selling AirPods Pro 2 with a fault
An earbud that crackles with noise cancellation, a case whose lid no longer holds or AirPods Pro 2 that are empty after fifteen minutes: we buy all of this as faulty, from 25 €, as long as both earbuds and the case are included and nothing was opened. Without the case we pay at most that amount; we do not buy single earbuds.
USB-C or Lightning, battery, hygiene: how we rate the Pro 2
Both case versions bring the same amount; you tell them apart by the port at the bottom of the case. We test sound, microphones, noise cancellation and Transparency mode on both earbuds, measure runtime and check the case, lid and the speaker in the case. Take the silicone ear tips off before sending, rinse them with clean water and put them back on dry. Box and cable add nothing.

Unpair the AirPods Pro 2 and restore factory settings
First remove the Pro 2 in the Find My app under Devices with Remove This Device, and on your iPhone under Bluetooth with Forget This Device. Then put both earbuds in the case, close it for 30 seconds, open the lid and hold the button on the back for about 15 seconds until the light flashes amber, then white. Do you buy just an AirPods Pro 2 case?
No. We do not buy a case on its own or a single earbud of the AirPods Pro 2, because it does not make a complete set. If only the case is missing, you get at most the faulty price of 25 € for both earbuds.
What do used AirPods Pro 2 with a scratched case bring?
With clearly visible scratches or worn spots on the case, used AirPods Pro 2 bring up to 45 €. Faint marks that only show in the light bring up to 60 €. A cracked lid or a broken hinge counts as a fault.
Do I have to change the ear tips of my AirPods Pro 2 before selling?
No, but please clean them: take them off, rinse with clean water, let them dry, put them back on. We do not need the spare sizes from the box. Torn ear tips on the AirPods Pro 2 count as wear, there is no separate deduction.
Is sending in my AirPods Pro 2 free of charge?
Yes, from all of Austria. You get an insured shipping label by email and drop the AirPods Pro 2 at the post office. Shipping costs you nothing. The earbuds stay in the closed case, the case goes in a small box.
What do you charge if I turn down the offer for my AirPods Pro 2 after inspection?

How do I reset AirPods Pro 2 before selling them?
Earbuds in the case, lid closed for 30 seconds, open it and hold the button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds until the light flashes amber, then white. Before that, remove the AirPods Pro 2 from your Apple Account in Find My.
How do I get the money for my AirPods Pro 2?

Does Apple give anything for AirPods Pro 2 at trade-in?
Apple does not list AirPods as a trade-in device on its Austrian trade-in page; they are recycled for free. You usually get no amount for them there. With us you get money for working AirPods Pro 2 by PayPal or bank transfer.
Do you buy AirPods Pro 2 that went through the washing machine?
Yes, as faulty from 25 €, if both earbuds and the case are included. AirPods Pro 2 often still partly work after a wash, but microphones or speakers suffer. Let them dry well, do not charge them straight away and select water damage in the calculator.
