An Apple Watch SE 3 with GPS brings up to 110 € with us in like-new condition, up to 90 € with light wear and up to 70 € with visible scratches. Faulty and never opened we pay from 35 €, with Cellular from 45 €. The 35 € gap between GPS and Cellular only applies to a like-new watch; with signs of use it gets smaller in the same proportion. On the SE 3 the glass is the main price factor: it has no sapphire, and scratches build up fast when the watch is worn without a case during sport or at school.

Sell a faulty SE 3
Even an SE 3 with cracked glass, a touchscreen that only partly responds or a stuck crown still has value with us. If it was never opened by a third-party shop, we buy it as faulty, from 35 €. With children’s watches a crack after a fall is common, and buying a new one feels easier when the old watch still brings some money.
What counts on the SE 3 and what does not
The SE 3 only comes in aluminium, so we do not distinguish by material. Size makes no difference, 40 and 44 mm bring the same. Cellular does: on a like-new watch that is a 35 € premium, with light wear 30 € and with visible scratches 20 €. We check glass, case, crown, side button, sensors and the battery, whose state you can see yourself under Settings › Battery › Battery Health. You do not need to send the band.

Unpairing the SE 3, including Family Setup
Normally you unpair the SE 3 in the Watch app on your iPhone: All Watches, info button, Unpair Apple Watch. If it was set up for a child through Family Setup, do this on the iPhone of the parent who manages the watch. Only then is Activation Lock removed; we cannot buy a locked watch. How can I tell whether my Apple Watch is an SE 3 or an SE 2?
The model name is on the watch under Settings › General › About. A quick hint: if the display stays dimly visible when you lower your wrist, it is an SE 3; the SE 2 switches it off completely. The SE 3 brings up to 110 €, the SE (2nd generation) up to 60 €.
Is the 44 mm Apple Watch SE 3 worth more than the 40 mm?
No, both sizes of the Apple Watch SE 3 bring the same amount with us. The larger watch does not fetch noticeably more second-hand. Only Cellular and the state of glass, case and battery matter.
Can I sell an Apple Watch SE 3 with a cracked screen?

Possibly, but as credit or an Apple Gift Card, not as money. In Austria Apple only shows a fixed amount for the SE 3 in the trade-in form. If you want to use the money freely, you get a bank transfer or PayPal payment from us.
Does the band of the Apple Watch SE 3 have to come along?
No. Band, charging cable and box add nothing to the SE 3 price. The band fits watches of the same size group, so you can keep using it. We buy the watch without any accessories.
