What is special about the Nord 4 back cover repair?
Unlike the Nord 2 and Nord 3, the Nord 4 has no rear glass – it has a metal housing. This is more robust against blunt impacts, but with sharp edges or dents the housing can be damaged. Depending on the type of damage, we replace the back cover or repair the metal housing directly. The diagnostic check determines which approach makes more sense.

The Nord 4 is the first Nord model with an aluminium housing – a feature that fundamentally distinguishes it from the Nord 2 and Nord 3 with their glass backs. Damage therefore looks different: no shards, but scratches, bends or dents in the metal.

The repair takes approx. 2 to 3 hours, depending on whether only the back cover is replaced or seals or the camera glass are affected as well.

Can I come in with the device without an appointment?
No. We do not operate an open walk-in point for customers. All repairs run via pickup service (Vienna) or postal shipping from the rest of Austria. Please arrange an appointment in advance.
Is there a warranty on the back cover repair?
Yes. 12-month warranty on the spare part and the installation. If the back cover comes loose or shows defects within this period without external influence, we fix it free of charge.
Are original OnePlus parts used?
Original back covers from OnePlus are not available for the independent repair market. We use high-quality compatible metal covers that are precisely manufactured for the Nord 4 – with correct cutouts for the camera system.
What does the diagnostic check cost if I don't order a repair?
A flat 25 €. This amount is fully credited when you place a repair order – you then pay only the repair price.
Can moisture get in through the damaged metal housing?
Yes. A loose or damaged back cover breaks the seal of the housing. If moisture ingress is suspected, we also check the inside for damage.
Is the back cover repair worthwhile on the Nord 4?
Yes. The Nord 4 is one of the newer and most powerful devices in the Nord line. For from 79 € you restore the visual and technical integrity of the device – significantly cheaper than a replacement device.
Does the Nord 4 repair differ from the Nord 2 or Nord 3?
Yes, significantly. The Nord 2 and Nord 3 have glass backs that are heated and detached. The Nord 4 has a metal back cover that is fastened differently and can be opened without heat treatment. For experienced technicians the procedure is similarly quick, however.
Will I lose data through the back cover repair?
No. When the back cover is replaced, only the outer housing is worked on – your internal storage and all saved content remain completely untouched.
Which colours are available for the Nord 4's back cover?
