We call and confirm

We get in touch with you personally, clarify the final details and confirm collection or send-in. So you know exactly where you stand before anything happens.

Nothing for you to prepare

No packing instructions, no factory reset, no hassle. We take care of the rest. Still, making your own backup never hurts — better safe than sorry.

Collection with a joint inspection

At collection we look over your device together with you and record its exterior condition — scratches, cracks, pre-existing damage. That way there is no ambiguity later about the condition it reached us in.

You receive a handover receipt

After handover you get a receipt as proof. It lists your device, the reported fault and the recorded condition. Your device is fully documented from the start.

We repair it in our workshop

If the fault is clear and the price is known, we repair right away. Many standard repairs like screen, battery or charging port are done quickly. If a diagnosis is needed, we only continue after your approval — see below.

Pay conveniently online by link

Once everything is finished, we send you a payment link by email. You pay securely in one click — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. There is no payment on site.

Return delivery or return shipping

Once your payment arrives, we bring your device back to you in Vienna or ship it across Austria. Freshly repaired, with a 6-month warranty on the repair.

If a diagnosis is needed first

Sometimes the cause is not immediately obvious. In that case we run a diagnosis first — and you decide before we repair. Specifically, you receive up front:

  • exactly which fault is present
  • the binding fixed price for the repair
  • how long the repair will likely take
  • whether data can be lost in this repair or not

We only repair once you agree. The diagnostic check costs 25 EUR and is fully waived as soon as you place the repair order.

Pay conveniently online — never on site

As soon as your repair is finished, you receive a payment link by email. One click, secure and SSL-encrypted via Stripe. These payment methods are available to you:

Why there is no drop-off on site with us

Reparo comes from the business sector — for years we repaired exclusively for companies. Recently we opened our service to private customers in Vienna and across Austria too.

Instead of a classic walk-in shop, we deliberately rely on collection and send-in. That is more convenient for you: no journey, no waiting at a counter, no opening hours to work around. We come to you or your parcel comes to us — and your device is documented from handover to return.

That is why a spontaneous drop-off with us is not possible. In return you get a thought-through, transparent process that our business customers have valued for years.

Do I need to prepare my device before collection?
No, there is nothing to prepare — no packing, no reset. We take care of everything. We still recommend making your own backup, just to be safe. Have your unlock code ready in case we need to test functions.
What is a handover receipt and what is it for?
The handover receipt is your proof of the handover. It lists your device, the reported fault and the exterior condition recorded during the inspection. So it is documented from the start in what condition your device reached us — protecting both you and us.
Can't I just drop my device off with you?
Dropping the device off in person is not possible. We come from the business sector and deliberately offer our private-customer service via collection in Vienna and send-in across Austria. That is more convenient for you, and your device stays documented throughout.
How and when do I pay for the repair?
You pay only once the repair is finished. We then send you a payment link by email, which you settle in one click — securely via Stripe. There is no payment on site or in cash.
Which payment methods can I use?
Via the payment link you can pay with Visa, Mastercard and Maestro as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Everything is SSL-encrypted, and your card details are not stored with us.
Do I have to pay before you start the repair?
No. With a known fixed price we repair first and send the payment link afterwards. If a diagnosis is needed, there is no advance payment for the repair either — you approve it only after our information.
What happens if the fault has to be found first?
Then we run a diagnosis first. You receive the exact fault, the fixed price, the expected duration and whether data can be lost. We only repair after your approval. The diagnostic check costs 25 EUR and is waived once you place the order.
Will I be told in advance if my data could be lost?
Yes. By the diagnosis information at the latest, we tell you clearly whether data could be affected in your repair. For many standard repairs like a screen or battery replacement your data stays untouched. Making your own backup beforehand is always a good idea.
How does it work if I don't live in Vienna?
Then you use our send-in service for all of Austria. You post your device to us. As soon as it arrives, you instantly receive a confirmation by email. From there the process is identical — including online payment and return shipping.
Do I get a confirmation when my parcel arrives?
Yes. When you send in, you receive an email as soon as your device has reached us. So you know for sure your parcel has arrived before we begin the inspection.
What does the service cost on top of the repair?
Besides the repair cost, only the collection and delivery fees apply, staggered by Vienna district. You can find a detailed overview on our Pickup & Delivery page. When sending in, you cover the postage to us.
How quickly will my device be back with me?
We complete many standard repairs within 1 to 2 business days, some even the same day. With a diagnosis it depends on your approval and spare-part availability. We keep you posted throughout.
Who is liable if my device is damaged in transit?
For collection in Vienna we transport your device carefully and have recorded its condition on the handover receipt. For send-in we recommend sturdy, padded packaging. If you have questions about safe packaging, we are happy to help by phone.
Is there a warranty on the repair?
Yes, we give a 6-month warranty on fitted parts and our work for every repair. If a fault attributable to the repair occurs in that time, we fix it free of charge.
