When the Find X3 Pro needs a new screen
On the curved screen of the Find X3 Pro the damage often shows up only bit by bit. A typical start is a thin green or pink stripe at the edge that gets wider over time. Dead touch zones along the rounded edges, flickering image areas, or a fingerprint sensor sitting under the glass that suddenly no longer unlocks are clear signs too. Sometimes the device audibly carries on – notifications still come in – but the panel stays dark. In all of these cases the display unit itself is affected, and that is exactly what we replace completely.

Repair the screen or replace the Find X3 Pro?

A word on water resistance: the Find X3 Pro is protected against the ingress of water to IP68 – but only in factory condition. Do my photos, apps and accounts stay intact during the screen swap?
Yes, a screen swap does not touch the storage – photos, contacts, apps and logins stay untouched. A backup before the repair still makes sense, especially if the X3 Pro has also taken on moisture.
Can I drop the Find X3 Pro off somewhere for the screen swap?
We do not run a shop with customer traffic. Instead we collect your Find X3 Pro in Vienna with the pickup service, or you send it in by post from all of Austria. Both routes end with the fully repaired device back with you.

The X3 Pro is protected against water to IP68 from the factory, but a cracked display breaks the seal on the curve, so moisture can get in. Switch the device off then and do not charge it. During the diagnosis we check whether a screen swap alone is enough or the board needs cleaning too.
Does the touch respond again on the curved edges after the swap?
Yes. Especially on the rounded edges we test the touch particularly carefully after fitting and calibrate it if needed. The Find X3 Pro then recognises swipes and taps reliably again across the entire curved surface, without dead zones.
