Open the housing The Pixel 5 is opened with heat and special tools. Because the back is glued, opening takes a little time.

Replace the USB-C board The faulty USB-C board is fully removed and swapped for a matching replacement board. All internal connections are reconnected cleanly.

Test charging and data transfer After installation we test whether charging runs stably and the USB-C connection works for data transfer. Only then is the device resealed and returned.

No. Replacing the USB-C board does not touch any stored data. A backup via Google One before the repair is still recommended.

6 months from the repair date on the fitted charging port. Charging faults traced back to the repair are fixed free of charge during this period.

We use USB-C boards matched to the Pixel 5. Original Google parts are barely available on the aftermarket — we explain in advance what is fitted.
What does the diagnosis cost if I do not have it repaired?
The diagnostic check costs 25 EUR, waived on repair. If you decide on the repair, this amount is dropped entirely.
Can moisture damage the charging port on the Pixel 5?
The Pixel 5 is IP68 rated, but persistent moisture can cause corrosion on the charging port. If water damage is suspected, we check whether a pure port swap is enough.
Can I charge the Pixel 5 wirelessly while waiting for the repair?
Yes. The Pixel 5 supports Qi-compatible wireless charging — so you can keep using the device as a stopgap until the port is repaired.
