My Pixel 6 had water contact - can the camera still be saved?
If the camera is streaky or fogged after water contact, usually only the module is affected - the mainboard often stays intact. We open the device, clean the connector contacts and swap the module. For heavier water damage you need a separate cleaning job.
What about Magic Eraser and Google features after the repair?
Magic Eraser, the photo enhancer and all other Pixel software features stay fully intact. They are anchored in the Android system on the software side and not tied to a particular sensor. After the module swap you have all functions back straight away.
