The P40 Pro+ has a ceramic back (zirconium dioxide nano-tech ceramic, not aluminosilicate glass) — harder than glass, more scratch-resistant, but it shatters dramatically on impact. The back replacement is EUR 149: we cut the ceramic away from the aluminium frame with a laser, bond on a new OEM ceramic panel, re-position the 40 W wireless charging coil and NFC antenna, and apply fresh IP68 adhesive. One working day in the workshop.
Quad-curved OLED — what does that mean for repair?
The P40 Pro+ has the "Overflow Display" — OLED that curves on all four edges of the front (not just left and right). This was technically demanding to manufacture and is technically demanding to replace. We use special tooling to separate the curved adhesive on all four edges without damaging the touch layer. Both original (EUR 229) and aftermarket (EUR 159) options keep the 90 Hz refresh and curved-edge touch zones.

The P40 Pro+ is IP68 rated to 1.5 m, but the seal degrades with age and the rating does not cover salt water, chlorine or pressurised water. The first 24 hours are critical.
