When the Find X5 Pro needs a new screen
A shattered protective glass you see straight away – the creeping faults of the LTPO 2.0 panel are trickier. The Find X5 Pro relies on a 6.7-inch AMOLED with QHD+ resolution, a dynamic 1 to 120 Hz and glass curved on both sides. The protective glass, the panel and the fingerprint sensor underneath are laminated into one component at the factory. A glass-only swap on the curved edge is extremely risky, because the thin LTPO layers tear easily in the process – the result would be exactly the stripes and blotches you actually want to get rid of.
