- Open the back cover or display
On the Galaxy A30 the battery sits behind the back cover on models from 2021. We heat the adhesive layer to 70 °C and detach carefully.
- Remove the old battery
The 4000-mAh cell is fixed to the plastic frame with pull tabs. We loosen the adhesive with isopropanol 99, never with a screwdriver lever.
- Install a certified 4000-mAh cell
Same nominal voltage (3.85 V), same capacity, same form factor. Connector onto the mainboard, adhesive on the frame, contact pressure controlled.
- Resealing
The frame is closed with new adhesive. No factory IP protection on the Galaxy A30 – but dust and dripping-water protection is restored.
- Full charge + calibration
First charge at 25 °C to 100 %, then a full discharge and recharge. The battery gauge is calibrated to the new cell.
