- Open the frame under temperature control
The M52 5G has a plastic back panel fixed with double-sided adhesive. At 50 °C the adhesive film releases evenly — without streaks on the transparent polycarbonate.
- Old panel out, new one in
The display is bonded to the mid-frame. We release the flex connections to the mainboard and battery, fit the new panel and connect it again. The position is aligned to 0.2 mm accuracy.
- Bond the back panel, refresh test, handover
Fresh adhesive strip for the back panel, 10 minutes of function testing with a scroll and refresh-rate test, colour-space check, touch sweep. After about 2 hours the replacement is done.

Can only the glass above the panel be replaced?
No. Glass and AMOLED are laminated together on the M52 5G. A single glass swap tears off the OLED — we always replace the complete display module.

No. The flash storage is not touched. Contacts, WhatsApp, photos, Samsung account and apps are kept. A Samsung Cloud backup before every repair is still recommended.
Fingerprint sensor — where is it and does it need to be re-enrolled?
