The Galaxy S21+ back cover is a material compromise between hardness and weight – a glass back with chemical toughening (Gorilla Glass Victus or similar). The glass shrugs off everyday scratches, yet on impact drops onto edges it still breaks. Typical triggers: a fall from a trouser pocket onto tiles, an edge against a kerb, pressure from objects sliding around in a car. The replacement is usually faster and cheaper than buying new.

Most common on the Galaxy S21+: a broken glass back, hairline cracks or a lifted adhesive edge. Sometimes the camera lens in the back cover is broken too – then we replace it as part of the back cover swap or check the camera sensor separately. Every symptom is logged precisely during the diagnosis before parts are ordered.

For cracks in the rear glass only, replacing the back cover unit including the adhesive frame usually suffices. But if the drop also hit the camera module, the Qi coil or the frame, we check those components during the diagnosis (25 EUR, waived on repair) and give you a clear quote before we work. With the Galaxy S21+ the rule is: we fit nothing that isn't needed.

No. Unlike a battery replacement, for the back cover we enter the device from the rear – the display stays completely untouched. We warm the adhesive frame to 70–80 °C with a special heating mat, release the damaged glass with flat carbon spudgers and bond the new part. Your Galaxy S21+ screen stays just as it was.

Yes. With every back cover replacement we renew the entire IP68 adhesive frame all around. After correct fitting your Galaxy S21+ reaches the same water and dust resistance as from the factory – brief immersion up to 1.5 m depth for 30 minutes. We generally advise against active diving or swimming after any housing intervention.

Yes. The Galaxy S21+ Qi charging coil sits directly behind the back cover – during the swap we reseat the coil and then check that charging works at the original speed. If the coil was damaged by the drop, it is replaced separately (cost after diagnosis). Without additional damage, wireless charging works just as before after the swap.

The pure working time on the Galaxy S21+ is around 60–90 minutes. The total turnaround is 1–2 business days, because the new adhesive frame needs about 30 minutes of curing time before the device can be returned. We keep parts in stock for the most common Samsung models; for special colours an extra business day for procurement may apply.

Yes. For the Galaxy S21+ our courier drives to all 23 Vienna districts Monday to Friday. You book a pickup window online (9 am–6 pm), we collect the device at your home or office and deliver it back after 1–2 business days. Courier costs are included in the fixed EUR 149 price – no extra fee.

Yes. Customers from Graz, Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck, Bregenz, Klagenfurt or St. Pölten send the Galaxy S21+ in insured by post. After booking we send shipping instructions, and after the swap the device goes back insured. Diagnostic check 25 EUR (waived on repair), all other costs included in the fixed EUR 149.

Reparo has no on-site customer access in Vienna. The two options for the Galaxy S21+ back cover replacement: pickup service by our courier (within Vienna, from EUR 7.90) or insured send-in service (from anywhere in Austria). Both options carry the same fixed price of EUR 149.

No. We only work on the housing – the mainboard, storage, SIM card and Samsung account are not disconnected. Photos, apps, Wi-Fi passwords and settings all stay intact. We still recommend a Samsung Cloud backup before any repair (free, 5 minutes via the Samsung account settings).

We fit high-quality OEM back covers that match the original Samsung parts in colour, material and fit. Original Service Pack parts are only available through authorised Samsung service centres. For certain special colours of the Galaxy S21+ we check availability in advance – standard colours are in stock.

Six months on material and fitting. If the new part comes away from the frame in that time or shows manufacturing cracks, we replace it free of charge. Not covered: new drop damage, water damage from improper use or mechanical impact on the new glass. The warranty applies Austria-wide.
