The S24 Ultra is Samsung’s first ever titanium-frame Galaxy. Titanium needs longer heat exposure to soften the panel adhesive, and the replacement adhesive is a Ti-grade stretch-release frame rather than the standard glass-back tape. The materials and the time both push the swap to EUR 99, against EUR 89 for the glass-back S24 and S24+.

Yes. We run a full S Pen test after every Ultra screen repair — all 4,096 pressure levels, side button, tip detection at panel edges and slot retention. Only then is the device released. If the digitizer or pen itself is faulty we tell you before the screen swap.

No. Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist and Generative Edit all run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip and on-device models — the storage and SoC are never touched during a screen, battery, port or back-cover swap. Galaxy AI keeps working exactly as before.

Samsung made a deliberate trade. The S23 Ultra used 10x optical glass with a smaller sensor. The S24 Ultra uses 5x optical with a much larger sensor that gathers more light and crops to comparable 10x results in good conditions. For repairs the practical impact is that S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra periscope assemblies are not interchangeable.
