Poco X7 Pro repair Vienna: large screen, 6,000 mAh battery and 90-watt charging

The Poco X7 Pro from early 2025 is built for endurance: a 6.73-inch AMOLED at 120 Hz, a 6,000 mAh battery, 90-watt charging and, for the first time in the X series, an IP68 rating. The back comes in glass or as a two-tone variant with vegan leather. The large screen is also the largest target: if the X7 Pro lands on its edge, the glass cracks, and because it is bonded to the panel, the whole unit has to be replaced. Thanks to its size the battery lasts long, but with daily 90-watt charging it loses noticeably after two years.

Poco X7 Pro screen replacement: from EUR 179

Whether a crack, a black patch or a touchscreen that only responds in one half: for the Poco X7 Pro screen replacement we replace the complete screen unit from EUR 179 and re-bond the frame so the IP68 protection remains. The fingerprint sensor under the AMOLED is set up again with the new panel, and we check the 120 Hz refresh rate before returning the phone.

Poco X7 Pro battery replacement: 6,000 mAh for EUR 79

If the battery drains fast, the phone gets hot during 90-watt charging or switches off at 15 percent, the cell is worn out. The battery replacement costs EUR 79 and takes one to two hours; afterwards we test fast charging with a matching charger. Poco X7 Pro charging slowly or not charging

90 watts only arrive with the original charger and cable; with a third-party charger it stays at a fraction. If the X7 Pro charges slowly even with original accessories, the charging stops or the cable has to be held, the USB-C port is dirty or worn out. Cleaning EUR 20, replacement EUR 69. If the phone does not charge at all, we also check the battery in the diagnosis.

Back cover, camera glass and camera

The back of the Poco X7 Pro comes in glass or with a vegan leather section; we replace both for EUR 79 with a new seal. A shattered camera glass is replaced for EUR 19.90 per lens, the 50-megapixel camera with stabiliser for EUR 89 in case of blurry pictures.

Is repairing the Poco X7 Pro worth it?

The Poco X7 Pro is young, cost around EUR 370 new and will receive updates for years. A battery for EUR 79 or a screen from EUR 179 is much cheaper than a new phone, and all data is kept. Poco X7 Pro battery draining fast despite 6,000 mAh: normal?
No. A healthy X7 Pro lasts one and a half to two days with 6,000 mAh. If the runtime drops to a few hours or the indicator jumps, daily fast charging has worn out the cell. A look at the battery settings is worthwhile first; if it stays that way, the replacement for EUR 79 helps.
Poco X7 Pro getting hot: cause for concern?
During 90-watt charging and in long gaming sessions the X7 Pro gets warm, that is normal. But if it gets so hot that charging stops or the phone switches itself off, we check battery and charging port in the diagnostic check for EUR 25; on repair the amount is waived.
Poco X7 Pro charging slowly: is it the charging port?
Usually the accessories: 90 watts only come with the original charger and cable. If the X7 Pro charges slowly even with those or the charging stops, the USB-C port is dirty or worn out. Cleaning costs EUR 20, the port replacement EUR 69.
Is the Poco X7 Pro waterproof?
The Poco X7 Pro is rated IP68 and survives brief submersion in fresh water. The seals age though, and salt water or soap attack them. After water damage switch the phone off, do not charge it and bring it to us; the treatment with cleaning of the mainboard starts from EUR 49.

Yes. The sensor sits under the AMOLED and is set up again with the new panel during the screen replacement; we test the unlock before returning the phone. Only a damaged sensor has to be replaced separately, which we clarify with you beforehand.
