What lowers the price on this model is mainly scratches in the glossy jet black finish, which shows every mark, and cracks in the glass that curves far over the edge.

Sell a faulty Series 10 instead of binning it
Because the Series 10 glass reaches right to the edge, it cracks more easily from a side knock than on older models. We still buy such a watch, from 40 €, provided it was never opened by a third-party shop. The same applies to a Series 10 whose touchscreen lags or that no longer responds on the charger. Jet black, titanium, Cellular: price factors of the Series 10
The Series 10 comes in aluminium, including glossy jet black, and in polished titanium with sapphire glass. Our table uses aluminium; a titanium watch is valued after inspection. Size does not matter: 42 and 46 mm bring the same. Cellular adds 40 € on a like-new watch, 35 € with faint marks and 25 € with visible scratches. You do not need to send a band, and you can read battery health yourself under Settings › Battery on the watch.

Erasing the Series 10 for sale
The Series 10 is erased by unpairing it on your iPhone: Watch app, All Watches, info button next to the watch, Unpair Apple Watch. The iPhone makes a backup first, so your workouts and health data are kept. Afterwards Activation Lock is gone; on Cellular you remove the plan at the same time. The glossy finish shows fine scratches more clearly than matte aluminium. If you only see them against the light, the Apple Watch Series 10 still counts as lightly used and brings up to 105 €. If the scuffs are visible at first glance, it is worth up to 80 €.
Does it matter for the trade-in whether my Apple Watch Series 10 is 42 or 46 mm?
No, both sizes of the Apple Watch Series 10 bring the same price. The larger watch does not fetch noticeably more on the second-hand market, so we price them the same. Only Cellular, case material and condition make a difference.
