Wiping the iPhone 14 before you sell
Create a backup, or move everything to your new phone via Quick Start. Then sign out of your Apple Account in Settings; Find My and Activation Lock turn off with it. Choose General › Transfer or Reset iPhone › Erase All Content and Settings. Remove your nano-SIM; an eSIM is deleted during the reset. If you had Emergency SOS contacts or Medical ID set up, they are erased too. Apple’s support page lists all steps.
