Selling an old or used phone: what still pays
An old phone is often worth more than you think. An iPhone 12 that has sat in a drawer since you upgraded still brings up to 115 € like new and up to 95 € with light signs of use. A Galaxy S24 brings up to 215 € like new.
We buy iPhones from the 12 series, Samsung Galaxy A models from A52 to A90 and S models from the S22, Google Pixel from the Pixel 6, Xiaomi from the Mi 8 series as well as OnePlus and Fairphone. The longer a used phone sits unused, the less it brings, because every new generation pushes the price of the old one down.
We do not buy feature phones or old Nokia, Motorola or Sony Ericsson devices. Their value lies in the raw materials, which a recycling plant recovers better than a workshop. In Vienna the MA 48 recycling centres take old electronics free of charge, elsewhere in Austria the municipal collection centres do.
Selling a broken or faulty phone
A crack in the glass, a battery that barely lasts the day or a fussy charging port — these faults do not end your sale.
