A Switch 2 without marks, with both Joy-Con 2 controllers and the dock, gets 300 € from us. Well kept and fully working it is 255 €, with scratches on the large screen or the casing 190 €, faulty and unopened from 120 €. Because the console is so new, every missing part counts: a missing Joy-Con 2, dock or power adapter lowers the price more than on older models.

Selling a Switch 2 with a fault
The touchscreen no longer responds, the Switch 2 only charges in the dock, or a Joy-Con 2 no longer holds magnetically? As long as nobody has opened the console, we pay from 120 €. We look at the damage in our Vienna workshop ourselves.
How to sell the Switch 2 by post
In the calculator you state how the Switch 2 starts, what the screen and casing look like and which accessories are included. Once you agree, we email you an insured label and pay the postage. After the inspection in Vienna we pay by bank transfer or PayPal around 48 hours later. Everything else is in our trade-in terms.
Removing the Switch 2 from your Nintendo Account
Transfer your data to your new console or back up saves with Nintendo Switch Online. Unlink the Switch 2 under HOME Menu › Virtual Game Cards › Settings, then reset it fully under System Settings › System › Formatting Options. Take out the microSD Express card and any game cards, we do not buy those.

What is the Nintendo Switch 2 trade-in value?
With us 300 € like new with both Joy-Con 2 and dock, 255 € well kept and 190 € with signs of use on the screen or casing. A faulty Switch 2 that was never opened brings from 120 €. The calculator shows the exact amount.
How much more does the Switch 2 bring than the Switch OLED?
300 € like new compared with 150 € for the Switch OLED, so twice as much. The Switch 2 is newer, has 256 GB of storage and a larger, higher-resolution screen.
Is it worth selling the Switch 2 shortly after buying it?
If you do not use it, yes: new consoles lose value fastest in their first year. Today a well-kept Switch 2 still brings 255 €, like new 300 €. The longer it sits in a cupboard, the less it gets.
How much do scratches on the Switch 2 screen lower the price?
Fine marks that only show in the light with the screen off keep the Switch 2 at 255 €. Visible scratches on the screen or the casing put it at 190 €. A crack in the glass counts as a fault.
Do you buy a Switch 2 with Joy-Con drift?
Yes. If a Joy-Con 2 drifts, state it under controller in the calculator; it only costs a small amount. We replace faulty Joy-Cons ourselves.
What do I get for a Switch 2 that no longer charges?
From 120 €, if the console was never opened. Try another USB-C cable and the original power adapter first, that is often the cause. If it really does not charge, state it in the calculator.
Do I have to send the dock when I sell my Switch 2?
No, but the full set of dock, power adapter, HDMI cable and both Joy-Con 2 gets the highest price. If a part is missing, we still buy the Switch 2 and deduct the replacement.
Does the original box of the Switch 2 bring more money?
Yes, a little: box and original cables add a bonus in the calculator. It is not required; well padded, the Switch 2 arrives safely without it.
Can I send my Switch 2 for free from anywhere in Austria?
Yes, the insured label is free throughout Austria, whether you live in Graz, Wels or Feldkirch. You drop the Switch 2 at the post office, and the price is the same as in Vienna.
What do I pay if I want my Switch 2 back after the inspection?
If you decline our inspected offer, we charge 10 € for return shipping. If the price differs from the estimate, we explain exactly why before you decide.
How do I reset the Nintendo Switch 2 for selling?
First unlink it under HOME Menu › Virtual Game Cards › Settings so your games do not stay tied to it. Then reset it fully under System Settings › System › Formatting Options. We cannot buy it with a Nintendo Account still linked.
When do I get paid for my Switch 2?
Around 48 hours after the inspection by bank transfer or PayPal. We do not pay cash, so the purchase of your Switch 2 is properly documented.
Trade in a Switch 2 at MediaMarkt or sell it to Reparo?
MediaMarkt buys game consoles but, according to its trade-in page, pays only as a gift card. If you want money in your account or via PayPal for the Switch 2, sell it to us. We take faulty units as well.
Do you buy Switch 2 games or game-key cards too?
No, we only buy the Switch 2 with Joy-Cons, dock and cables. Take game cards, game-key cards and the microSD Express card out before shipping.
Will I lose my games if I sell my Switch 2?
No. Digital purchases belong to your Nintendo Account, and you download them again on your next console. Back up your saves first via data transfer or Nintendo Switch Online.
