A Switch Lite without marks and with its charging cable gets 85 € from us. Well kept and fully working it is 65 €, with signs of use or a drifting stick 40 €, and we buy a faulty, unopened Lite from 25 €. Unlike the larger Switch, the sticks on the Lite are built in, so stick drift lowers the price more here: we have to open the console to fix it.

Switch Lite broken? We still buy it
A stick that moves on its own, a cracked screen or a Lite that shows no sign of life on the charger: if it was never opened, we pay from 25 €. In our Vienna workshop we replace sticks, charging port and battery ourselves.
Selling a Switch Lite by post
In the calculator you state how the Switch Lite starts, what the screen and casing look like and whether the charging cable is included. Once you agree, we email an insured label and you pay no postage. After the inspection in Vienna the money arrives by bank transfer or PayPal around 48 hours later. More in our trade-in terms.
Safely resetting a child’s Switch
A Switch Lite is often linked to a family account with the parental controls app. Before selling, unlink it in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, unlink the Lite under HOME Menu › Virtual Game Cards › Settings and reset it fully under System Settings › System › Formatting Options. The microSD card stays with you.

What is the Switch Lite trade-in value?

Why does the Switch Lite bring less than the regular Switch?
Because the Lite only works as a handheld, not on the TV, and its controls are built in. Like new we pay 85 € for the Lite and 110 € for the regular Switch.
Do you buy a Switch Lite with stick drift?
Yes. With a drifting stick the Lite is at 40 €, if everything else works. Because the sticks are built in, we open the console ourselves to replace them.
Does the colour of the Switch Lite change the price?
No, we pay the same for turquoise, yellow, grey, coral or blue. Special editions with prints are valued like the regular Lite; condition is what counts.
How much do scratches lower the price of a Switch Lite?
Light marks on the plastic casing keep the Switch Lite at 65 €. Visible scratches on the screen or worn buttons put it at 40 €. A cracked screen counts as a fault.
What do you pay for a Switch Lite that no longer charges?
From 25 €, if it was never opened. Try another USB-C cable and another power adapter first. If it still stays dark, state it in the calculator.
Do I have to send the charging cable with my Switch Lite?
With the charging cable the Lite gets the full price of up to 85 €. If it is missing, we still buy it and deduct the replacement. There is no dock for the Lite, so you do not need one.
Does the original box of the Switch Lite bring more money?
A little, box and original cables add a small bonus in the calculator. It is not required.
Can I send the Switch Lite for free from Burgenland or Vorarlberg?
Yes. The insured label is free throughout Austria, and you drop the Lite at any post office. The price is the same as in Vienna.
What does it cost if I want to keep my Switch Lite after the inspection?
If you decline our inspected offer, we send the Lite back for 10 € return shipping. If the price differs from the estimate, we explain why beforehand.
How do I remove my child’s Nintendo Account from the Switch Lite?
First unlink it in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app. Then unlink the Lite under HOME Menu › Virtual Game Cards › Settings and reset it under System Settings › System › Formatting Options. We cannot buy it with an account still linked.
When does the money for the Switch Lite arrive?
Around 48 hours after the inspection by bank transfer or PayPal. We do not pay cash.
Where is the best place to sell a Switch Lite?
MediaMarkt buys game consoles but, according to its trade-in page, pays only as a gift card. refurbed currently does not buy consoles. With us you get money for the Switch Lite by bank transfer or PayPal, even with a fault.
Does the battery of the Switch Lite matter when I sell it?
Only if it has faded noticeably. If the Lite lasts clearly shorter than before, state it; we replace the battery ourselves. The deduction usually stays smaller than for a screen defect.
Do you buy the Switch Lite together with games?
No, we only buy the console with its charging cable. Take game cards and the microSD card out before shipping.
