- Function test

To be honest: if your S9 no longer receives updates and you need a bank app that has dropped support, a new phone may be the better choice. If the S9 also has a weak battery, combining it with the battery replacement makes sense because the phone is open anyway.
The curved S9 screen and what matters when replacing it
The S9 screen measures 5.8 inches with a resolution of 2,960 × 1,440 pixels. Because glass and image layer are bonded together, the S9 does not allow a glass-only replacement. We always change the whole unit. It sounds more expensive, but it is the only way touch and image work cleanly afterwards.
Does fingerprint unlocking still work?

What happens to water resistance?
From the factory the S9 was rated IP68. After more than eight years the original seal is usually brittle anyway. We bond the new screen with a fresh seal, but we cannot promise factory-level water resistance after opening. Better keep the S9 away from water afterwards.
