The Galaxy A04s has a lithium-polymer battery with 5,000 mAh, charged via USB-C at up to 15 watts. When new, that usually lasts well over a day with normal use. After a few hundred full charge cycles the capacity drops noticeably; with daily charging that happens after two to three years.
Can I change the A04s battery myself?

How to keep the new battery fit for longer
Charge the A04s between 20 and 80 percent where possible and do not leave it in blazing sun or on a radiator. Heat harms a battery more than frequent charging. A charger with more than 15 watts brings nothing on the A04s, by the way; the phone does not take more anyway.

Very likely. A swollen lithium battery pushes the back outward from inside and can heat up. Put the A04s switched off in a cool place, away from anything flammable, and book an appointment. We remove the cell safely.

Yes. Internal storage and microSD card are untouched by the battery change. You will find contacts, photos and apps just as before. A backup is still a good idea.
How long is the warranty on the new A04s battery?
