Sell or trade in your Xiaomi 15 in Vienna
The Xiaomi 15 is one of the few small flagships: 6.36 inches, Leica cameras and still a battery that easily lasts the day. Compact top phones are rare on the second-hand market, so demand is good. If you are moving to a bigger model, your 15 gets you up to 370 EUR with us.
Xiaomi 15 buyback price: four levels, clear numbers
The basis is the 256 GB model. Which row fits your phone, you answer in a few clicks in the calculator above.
| Flawless, complete | 370 EUR |
| Well kept, small marks | 295 EUR |
| Visible scratches | 205 EUR |
| Display faulty, unopened | 135 EUR |
What a used Xiaomi 15 brings with us depends mostly on the glass and the frame: 370 EUR without marks, 295 EUR with small scratches, 205 EUR if the use is clearly visible. With a faulty display and never opened, we pay 135 EUR. The 512 GB version brings 40 EUR extra. Because the 15 is so small, it often goes into a trouser pocket without a case, and that is exactly where the fine scratches on the flat display appear that lower the price by one level.
Compact, but not indestructible
On the 15 we look especially at the flat display and the edges of the aluminium frame, because a small phone gets dropped more often than a big one. We test the three Leica cameras one by one, as well as wired and wireless charging and the fingerprint sensor under the display.
A crack in the glass or a battery that has worn is no reason to say no. We buy the 15 with damage too, and the amount then depends on the fault, 135 EUR for a broken display.
No shipping costs from anywhere in Austria
We send you an insured label as soon as you agree to the estimated value, and you take the parcel to the nearest post office. It costs you nothing, whether you live in Vienna's Favoriten district or in the Salzkammergut. At the workshop we inspect your Xiaomi 15, confirm the final price by email and pay around 48 hours after you say yes, by PayPal or bank transfer.
Sign out of two accounts, then reset
On the Xiaomi 15 with HyperOS 2 there are usually two accounts active: Google and Xiaomi. Both trigger a lock after a reset if you do not sign out first. Open Settings, sign out of the Xiaomi account so that “Find device” is off, and then out of the Google account. Only when both are gone and your data is backed up do you reset the phone.
Selling a Xiaomi 15: answers to your questions
How much is a Xiaomi 15 without scratches worth to you?
370 EUR for a complete phone without visible marks and with 256 GB. If you have the 512 GB version, it is 410 EUR. The amount is subject to our inspection in Vienna.
What is the Xiaomi 15 trade-in value after a year of use?
Most phones have fine scratches after a year and end up at 295 EUR. With visible dents in the frame it is 205 EUR. What decides is the condition, not the age alone.
What does the larger storage version bring when selling a Xiaomi 15?
The 512 GB version brings 40 EUR more than the 256 GB one. In the calculator you pick the storage in the first step and the bonus is added right away.
Can I sell my broken Xiaomi 15 with a cracked display?
Yes, we buy it from 135 EUR if it has never been opened. That also applies if the touch no longer responds in one spot. Enter the front and back separately in the calculator so the value fits.
Does a scratch on the flat display of the Xiaomi 15 already count as damage?
No, a fine scratch is a sign of use, not a fault. It can move the phone into the level with light marks. Only a crack in the glass or a picture fault counts as display damage.
How important is battery health when you buy a Xiaomi 15?
Important, but rarely a problem: the 15 is young and its battery is usually in good shape. Only below 80 percent is there a deduction. We measure the battery ourselves during the inspection anyway.
Do you cover the postage for my Xiaomi 15?
Yes, completely. You get an insured shipping label by email and pay nothing for the way to us. That applies to every address in Austria.
What does it cost me if I want my Xiaomi 15 back after the inspection?
10 EUR return shipping. That is the only fee, and it only applies if you do not accept our checked offer. Otherwise the whole buyback is free for you.
How do I reset my Xiaomi 15 for selling?
Make a backup first, then sign out of the Xiaomi account and the Google account in Settings. After that, reset to factory settings under “About phone”. Do not forget to take out the SIM card and delete any eSIM.
Can I get the money for my Xiaomi 15 via PayPal?
Yes, or by bank transfer, whichever you prefer. The money arrives around 48 hours after you have accepted the final price. We do not pay out in cash.
Does the original packaging have to come with the Xiaomi 15?
No, the phone on its own is enough. With the box and original charging cable there is a small bonus, though. A missing charger is no problem, we value the phone first and foremost.
Does MediaMarkt pay cash for a Xiaomi 15?
No, at MediaMarkt the buyback runs through the partner Foxway and always pays out as a gift card, instantly in the store, online usually within 14 days. With us you get money on PayPal or in your account and can spend it wherever you like. Even with a cracked display you see the adjusted value in our calculator beforehand.
Is the Xiaomi 15 resale value higher than the Xiaomi 14?
Yes, in the best condition 370 EUR compared with 290 EUR for the Xiaomi 14. The 80 EUR difference comes from the younger model year and the bigger battery.
What if my Xiaomi 15 has already been repaired by the manufacturer?
Then we still buy it, and the deduction is small. It only gets much more expensive with repairs in third-party shops using non-original parts. Enter the history in the calculator.
How long do I wait for an answer after my request about the Xiaomi 15?
Usually one working day at most. We check your details and any photos and get back to you by email with the offer and the shipping label.
