Yes, very often. Trouser-pocket dust and lint can block the USB-C port and prevent the cable from fully clicking in. Carefully clean the port with a dry toothpick. If that does not help, book an appointment.

No. Swapping the charging port is a purely mechanical operation on the flex cable – the internal storage remains completely untouched. Photos, apps and contacts are exactly as they were before.
Is there a warranty on the repaired charging port?
Yes. 6 months warranty on the installed module and the installation. If a problem with the charging port arising from the repair occurs within this time, it is fixed free of charge.
Do I lose Google support through the repair?
The Pixel 3a no longer has active Google warranty protection. Software updates were discontinued in 2022. A manufacturer warranty no longer exists – our Reparo warranty applies for 6 months.
