Yes. Dynamic Island is iOS software that uses the cut-out area of the TrueDepth camera group in the OLED panel (introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro). On the iPhone 15 Pro we fit only display modules with the correct Dynamic Island cut-out. After the screen replacement Dynamic Island works immediately as before, without any setup. With the original Apple display the iOS recognition is 100 % seamless; with the certified aftermarket panel there is occasionally a »display is not a genuine Apple part« notice in the first few days — it disappears on its own.
iPhone 15 Pro Face ID faulty — is it still repairable after a screen swap?
With a Face ID fault on the iPhone 15 Pro we distinguish two cases. First: display sensor transfer needed — the TrueDepth sensor group (selfie camera, dot projector, flood illuminator, IR camera) is individualised to your iPhone. During the screen swap we transfer this group from the old panel to the new one — Face ID then works again immediately without re-enrolment.
