How does the back glass replacement on the Nord 2 work?
The Nord 2 has a glued glass back, behind which sits the triple camera with its prominent camera island. During the replacement, the glass must be heated, carefully detached and a new back precisely bonded into place. The camera and its lens glasses are protected with care throughout.

Is a cracked back glass dangerous?
Small cracks usually cause no immediate problems. Deep cracks or missing pieces of glass, however, can compromise the housing's seal, allowing moisture to get inside. A prompt repair protects the device from follow-up damage.
Is the back glass or the entire housing replaced?
In most cases we replace only the back glass – not the entire housing. That is cheaper and fully sufficient for glass damage. For structural damage to the frame we discuss this separately after the diagnosis.
Is there a warranty on the back glass replacement?
Yes. We give a 12-month warranty on the spare part and the installation. If the glass detaches without external impact or shows problems within this period, we fix it free of charge.
Are original parts from OnePlus installed?
Original replacement glass from OnePlus is not available on the open repair market. We use high-quality compatible glass backs that are precisely made for the Nord 2 – with correct cutouts for the camera island and flash.
What does the diagnostic check cost if I don't order a repair?
A flat 25 €. If you order the repair after the diagnosis, this amount is fully credited. You then pay only the 79 € for the back glass replacement.
Could water damage have occurred at the same time as the back glass break?
If the device was exposed to moisture and at the same time has cracks in the back glass, we also check for internal moisture damage during the diagnosis. A cracked back glass removes the seal.
Is the back glass replacement on the Nord 2 worth it?
Yes. 79 € is significantly less than a replacement device. If the display, the battery and the rest of the technology still work, the back glass replacement is the most economically sensible solution.

Will I lose data through the back glass replacement?
No. During the back glass replacement only the glass is swapped. The mainboard, storage and all saved content stay completely untouched.
What happens if the back glass is broken into several pieces?
Even heavily shattered back glass can be replaced – as long as the housing itself is not bent or structurally damaged. We remove all glass residue and bond a new back into place.
