Poco C65 Screen Replacement Vienna
Is the display glass of your Poco C65 cracked, but the touchscreen still works? Fine cracks run across the 6.74-inch panel, the sharp glass edges cut your fingers as you type – yet the image stays clearly visible and inputs are registered. A typical superficial glass break on the IPS LCD, where the panel itself has remained intact. Reparo replaces the complete display module in Vienna – €119 fixed price, done in 2–4 hours, with 6 months warranty.

What to expect with the Poco C65 screen replacement
The Poco C65 is opened from the back, the cracked 6.74-inch IPS LCD module detached from the plastic frame and replaced with a tested spare module including notch cut-out and 90 Hz controller. On the C65 the front glass, touch layer and LCD panel are firmly bonded – so we always replace the complete module.
Usually 2–4 hours of repair time after delivery. With pickup within Vienna you get your Poco C65 back mostly the same or the next working day. With a send-in from other provinces: 1–3 working days after arrival including insured return shipping.
The panel again shows a continuous, crack-free surface, the fingers glide over the glass without any risk of cuts. The 90 Hz smoothness returns, brightness and colour reproduction match the original condition. The side fingerprint sensor, the 18W USB-C charging port and all cameras remain untouched by the procedure.
€119 fixed price – incl. complete module, installation, touch calibration and 6 months warranty. Diagnostic check 25 EUR, fully deducted from the repair price once you place the order. Everything is confirmed in writing before we start – no extra charges for shipping.
Typical display damage on the Poco C65
Most common case on the Poco C65: after a fall the front glass has fine to deep cracks, yet the display keeps working normally. Inputs are correctly recognised because only the top glass layer is broken – the touch layer in the IPS module underneath stays intact.
When tapping and swiping, the broken glass shards drag in micro-steps across the panel – thumb and index finger often leave small cut marks. Anyone who keeps using the C65 in this state risks not only their fingers but also shards penetrating the adhesive and the device.
On the Poco C65 the comparatively thin glass lamination of an entry-level device makes even a fall from hip height enough for cracks to spread across the display like a web. The image stays readable, but the overall look suffers massively – and any further strain enlarges the breaks.
If the glass break reaches deeper and the underlying digitizer lines are disturbed, scrolling stutters despite the 90 Hz panel and individual screen areas no longer respond. That distinguishes a pure glass break from a module fault – and makes the swap urgent.
Around the C65 notch cut-out run sensitive flex lines. After a fall onto the top display edge, milky patches or vertical bright streaks often appear there – the backlight of the IPS panel pushes through damaged crystal layers.
The Poco C65 rings, vibrates on messages and the case warms up – but the screen stays dark. Usually the display flex on the mainboard is loose or internally cracked. A module swap brings the display back without having to replace other components.

How the Poco C65 screen replacement works
-
Book pickup in Vienna or send-in
Arrange an appointment online via the booking form or by phone. In Vienna a courier comes to your address and collects the Poco C65. If you live outside, you receive the send-in address after booking – the insured return shipping is included in the fixed price.
-
Visual inspection and intake diagnosis
We check the C65 for visible glass shards, open crack edges and test touch, brightness and fingerprint sensor. The diagnostic check costs 25 EUR and is waived on repair. With an open glass break the finding is secured in a few minutes – additional consequential damage to camera or mainboard is ruled out.
-
Open the housing and vacuum out shards
The back of the Poco C65 is carefully detached, the 5000 mAh battery disconnected. With a fine vacuum we remove loose glass shards from the frame before the display connector is pulled from the mainboard – so no glass dust reaches sensitive components.
-
Remove the faulty display module
The old adhesive frame is heated evenly and the 6.74-inch module lifted from the plastic chassis. Earpiece speaker and front camera housing are secured so they can be reinstalled in the new module.
-
Bond and connect the new module
The tested 90 Hz IPS module is fitted with fresh precision adhesive, the notch cut-out aligned flush with the front camera. The display flex is carefully locked onto the mainboard, the battery flex reconnected.
-
Function test and return
The Poco C65 is switched on, touch tested across all screen areas, brightness stepped through and the 90 Hz playback checked with a test sequence. The device is then returned directly to your address in Vienna or shipped insured by post – including 6 months warranty on panel and work.
No shop visit needed – the entire Poco C65 repair runs via pickup service Vienna or postal shipping from Austria.
Is the screen replacement worth it on the Poco C65 in 2026?
The Poco C65 came to market at the end of 2023 – as the successor to the C55 with a larger 6.74-inch display, faster 18W charging and a side fingerprint sensor. Three years later the device still delivers solid performance for WhatsApp, navigation, emails and simple photos. With a superficial glass break and still-working touch, everything points to the swap: for €119 you get a fresh panel and keep a device whose battery, camera and internal components keep working flawlessly. A current Xiaomi 14 by comparison costs from around €899 new.
- €119 fixed price – transparently calculated
- Photos, accounts and MIUI/HyperOS settings stay
- 6 months warranty on panel and installation
- Done in approx. 2–4 hours
- 90 Hz smoothness and 6.74-inch area back
- No more sharp glass edges on your fingers
- From approx. €899 (Xiaomi 14, new)
- Migrate apps, logins and data anew
- Sell or dispose of the old Poco C65
- Familiarise yourself with HyperOS 2 on a different device
- Significantly larger budget with no need for repair
If the Poco C65 serves as a reliable everyday device, work phone or secondary phone, the screen replacement for €119 is clearly the more economical choice – especially because the touch keeps working and so no data loss looms. A backup before sending it in is still recommended.
Which display module does Reparo install in the Poco C65?
We use a tested 6.74-inch IPS LCD complete module with 90 Hz controller, cut exactly to the notch cut-out of the Poco C65. Front glass, touch layer and panel are factory-bonded firmly – which is why we never replace the glass alone, but always the entire module. Each panel is tested for touch accuracy, colour reproduction and 90 Hz stability before installation. The adhesive frame used is freshly applied so that the new display sits dust-tight against the chassis and glass dust has no chance to get inside.
Poco C65 display glass cracked – what matters now
The Poco C65 is Xiaomi's affordable entry into the 90 Hz class with a large 6.74-inch screen. Exactly what makes the C65 a joy in everyday use – the large glass area – is also the typical weak point in falls. Unlike high-priced flagships, the C65 uses a slimmer glass laminate that is light and inexpensive but already breaks superficially under medium impacts. The good news: in the vast majority of cases the touch layer beneath the glass stays intact, so you can keep operating your device – the problem is the sharp edges that abuse your fingers with every input.
The repair runs at Reparo without a shop visit: fix an appointment online via the booking form, the Poco C65 is collected within Vienna by pickup service or sent in by post from Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Burgenland. More about all repairs on the Poco C65 can be found on the model page.
Why a cracked display should be replaced quickly
Even if the touch works and the display stays readable, continuing to use a broken C65 display is risky. The open glass cracks act like predetermined breaking points: the next small impact, the next press into the trouser pocket or even a strong temperature change can drive the break deeper until it hits the touch layer. From that point the screen no longer responds reliably, and the repair becomes more urgent. On top of that there is the hygienic argument: micro-shards come loose with every swipe, settle into the adhesive around the panel and penetrate further into the device interior in heat. A timely swap prevents consequential damage to the battery flex, the vibration motor and the speaker grilles.
What sets the C65 apart from the predecessor C55 and the sister model Redmi 13C
The Poco C65 differs clearly from the C55: larger 6.74-inch display instead of 6.71 inches, 90 Hz refresh rate instead of 60 Hz and 18W fast charging instead of 10W. The side fingerprint sensor on the C65 sits in the power button and – unlike an in-display fingerprint – is not affected by the screen replacement. It remains fully ready to use after the repair, without new calibration. To the Redmi 13C there are technically nearly identical components – display module, battery and board components are interchangeable, which is why the repair at Reparo is technically handled under the Redmi 13C. For you as a customer that makes no difference: price, warranty and process are identical.

Frequently asked questions about the Poco C65 screen replacement
Price for Poco C65 screen replacement at Reparo?
€119 fixed price – incl. tested 6.74-inch IPS LCD complete module with 90 Hz controller, installation, touch calibration and 6 months warranty. The diagnostic check of 25 EUR is fully waived as soon as you place the repair order. The price is binding and confirmed in writing before we start.
Is the repair worth it if the touch still works?
Yes, especially then. A cracked glass with still-working touch is the cheapest time for the swap: there is no urgency from data loss, but the sharp edges cut your fingers and shards can migrate into the device interior. Anyone who repairs now prevents more expensive consequential damage to the touch layer or internal components.
How long does the screen replacement take on the Poco C65?
The pure repair time is 2–4 hours after arrival. With pickup in Vienna you get the C65 back mostly the same or the next working day. With a send-in from other provinces the overall process takes 1–3 working days including return shipping – all timings are communicated transparently at booking.
Can anything else break during the screen replacement on the Poco C65?
Very unlikely with professional tools and experience. Risk points are the battery flex, the earpiece speaker unit and the front camera at the notch cut-out – we treat these components especially carefully and reinstall them cleanly. In the unlikely event of damage, Reparo covers the follow-up repair at its own cost.
Does the Poco C65 have an OLED or IPS display?
A 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with 90 Hz and a notch – no OLED or AMOLED. When broken, it shows typical IPS symptoms: cracks through the image, milky patches or bright streaks at the edges, instead of the ink-like black spots that occur with AMOLED. The IPS panel often stays usable longer after a glass break because it does not darken on its own.
Does the side fingerprint sensor stay functional after the swap?
Yes. The fingerprint sensor sits in the power button on the right side of the Poco C65 housing and is completely independent of the display module. During the swap it is not touched – stored fingerprints, unlock speed and calibration remain exactly as before.
Can I drop off the Poco C65 for repair at your place?
Reparo works without a shop and accepts no walk-in customers. The repair is carried out exclusively via pickup service within Vienna or by postal send-in from all of Austria. Appointments are booked online or by phone – easier, because you don't have to drive anywhere.
How does the pickup service within Vienna work?
After your booking we arrange a time slot and a Vienna address of your choice – home, office or meeting point. A courier rings at the agreed time, takes the Poco C65 in a protective pouch and brings it back to the same address after the repair. You stay at home, we take care of the rest.
Can I send in the Poco C65 from another province?
Yes, from Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Burgenland. After booking you get the send-in address and packaging instructions. The insured return shipping is included in the €119 fixed price – turnaround is 1–3 working days after arrival.
Will my photos and data be lost during the screen replacement?
No. On the Poco C65 only the display module is replaced – the internal storage, your photos, contacts, WhatsApp chats, apps and HyperOS settings stay unchanged. Because the touch usually still works with a pure glass break, you can easily make a backup via the Xiaomi Cloud or Google Drive before sending it in.
What warranty is there on the new Poco C65 display?
6 months warranty on panel and installation work. Repair-related faults – pixel errors, loose flex connections, touch dropouts without a new fall – are fixed free of charge during this period. New damage from a fall, water contact or mechanical impact is excluded from the warranty.
Does Reparo install an original display or a replica?
For the Poco C65 we use a high-quality IPS LCD module from the spare-parts market that reproduces the brightness, colour reproduction and 90 Hz refresh rate of the original in practice. Original Xiaomi displays are hardly available for the C65 on the open market – our replica module is tested before installation and secured by the 6-month warranty.
What to do if the touch also failed after the glass break?
The price stays unchanged at €119 – regardless of whether only the glass or also the touch layer is affected. Since glass and panel are firmly bonded in the Poco C65, we always replace the complete module anyway. After installation both display and touch work fully again.
What does the diagnosis cost if I don't order a repair?
The diagnosis alone costs 25 EUR. If you then decide on the screen replacement, this amount is fully deducted from the repair price – so you don't pay it twice. With an obvious glass break the diagnosis is usually completed in 15–20 minutes and the quote is available the same day.
What happens if the Poco C65 also had water contact?
The Poco C65 has no IP certification against moisture. After water contact we first check whether, besides the display, the mainboard, battery or charging port are also affected. The board is cleaned if necessary before the new panel is installed. Initial diagnosis 25 EUR – waived on repair. Extra costs for cleaning work are shown transparently in the quote.
