Sell or trade in your Fairphone in Vienna
A Fairphone is built to last, and that is exactly why many people look specifically for a used one. With us a like-new Fairphone 6 with 256 GB fetches 320 €, a Fairphone 5 with 256 GB 225 €, and even a Fairphone 3 still 65 €. Pick your model below, work out the trade-in value and send the phone to Vienna with our free label from anywhere in Austria.
Choose your Fairphone model
Each model shows an estimated starting value. We set the exact amount after inspecting the device in our Vienna workshop — condition, storage size and the remaining update window matter most. All figures are non-binding estimates.
What a used Fairphone is worth with us
The cards above show the value of the smallest storage version in like-new condition, as of September 2026. The model pages list the scale for the common version: a Fairphone 5 with 256 GB brings 225 € like new, 180 € with light marks, 120 € with a cracked display and 60 € faulty without DIY traces. For the Fairphone 4 it is 145, 110, 70 and 35 €. After the model itself, the remaining years of software updates matter most, then display and battery.
Sell your Fairphone in three steps
Tap your model, enter storage and condition. You see the non-binding estimate straight away.
The insured shipping label arrives by email. Hand the parcel in at the post office, from any Austrian state.
After the inspection in Vienna we pay about 48 hours later by bank transfer or PayPal.
Sell a Fairphone with a cracked screen or a weak battery
A crack in the display, a battery that no longer lasts the day or a camera that will not focus do not rule out a sale. Enter the damage in the calculator and you see the adjusted value. Because the Fairphone is made of modules, we restore such phones in our own workshop. If you have already swapped a module yourself, say so in the calculator.
Sell online, wherever in Austria you live
You do not need a shop nearby. From Innsbruck, Graz or the Mühlviertel you send the phone free of charge with our insured label. Before that, sign out of your Google account and reset the Fairphone. The rules are in our trade-in terms, other brands in the phone trade-in overview.
Frequently asked questions about the Fairphone trade-in
Where can I sell my Fairphone?
With us, online, from anywhere in Austria. Pick your model above, see the estimated value and send the Fairphone to Vienna with a free, insured label. Around 48 hours after the inspection the money is with you.
Which Fairphone models do you buy?
The Fairphone 3, the Fairphone 3+, the Fairphone 4, the Fairphone 5 and the Fairphone 6. An older model such as the Fairphone 2 is not on the list. Call us on +4367762801426 and we tell you whether we can take it.
How much is my old Fairphone still worth?
Like new we pay 320 € for a Fairphone 6 with 256 GB, 225 € for a Fairphone 5 with 256 GB, 120 € for a Fairphone 4 with 128 GB, 80 € for a Fairphone 3+ and 65 € for a Fairphone 3. With signs of use it is around 80 percent of that.
Why does a Fairphone hold its resale value so well?
Fairphone delivers software updates for years, and the battery or display can be swapped individually. That keeps demand for used phones high. A Fairphone 5 with 256 GB brings 225 € like new with us, and still 180 € with light marks.
Can I sell a Fairphone with a cracked display?
Yes. A Fairphone 5 with a cracked display brings 120 € with us, a Fairphone 6 180 €. Enter the damage in the calculator and you see the adjusted value immediately.
Do you pay more for a Fairphone with more storage?
On the Fairphone 4 and Fairphone 5, yes: the 256 GB version brings 25 € more than the 128 GB one. The Fairphone 3, 3+ and 6 were only sold with one storage size. You find the built-in storage under Settings › Storage; a microSD card does not count and stays with you.
Does a weak battery lower the price of my Fairphone?
Yes, in steps. Above 85 percent capacity there is no deduction, below that a small one, and under 80 percent a clearer one.
Is sending in my Fairphone free?
Yes. The insured label comes from us and you pay nothing at the post office, from Vienna just as from Vorarlberg. Costs only arise if you decline the inspected offer.
What does it cost if I want my Fairphone back after the inspection?
If you decline the inspected final price, we send the Fairphone back to you and charge 10 € for return shipping. If your answers in the calculator are accurate, it usually stays at the estimated value.
What do I need to do on my Fairphone before selling it?
Make a backup, remove your Google account under Settings › Passwords & accounts, then reset to factory settings. Take out the SIM and microSD card. We cannot buy a Fairphone with active Google theft protection.
When and how do you pay for my Fairphone?
Around 48 hours after the inspection, by bank transfer or PayPal. We do not pay cash. Including the post, the whole sale usually takes less than a week.
Selling a Fairphone to MediaMarkt or refurbed: what is different?
MediaMarkt pays with a gift card and only pays the full price with an intact display. refurbed pays by bank transfer but does not accept a cracked display. With us you get money, even for a Fairphone with cracked glass.
Do you buy a Fairphone where I swapped parts myself?
Yes. The Fairphone is built for self-repair. State in the calculator that the phone has been opened and whether you used original Fairphone parts. Third-party parts reduce the price more.
Should I include the case and charging cable of my Fairphone?
Not necessary. The original box and cable add a small bonus in the calculator. Keep the case, it makes no difference to the price.
How long will my Fairphone get updates, and does that change its trade-in value?
The younger the model, the longer Fairphone supports it with updates, and the more it is worth. That is why a like-new Fairphone 6 with 256 GB is at 320 € and a Fairphone 3 at 65 €. If you are switching, sell the old one soon.
