These figures are for an Apple Watch without scratches. With light wear we pay around 82 percent of that, with visible scratches on the case around 62 percent, and a faulty watch that was never opened brings around 30 percent. A used Series 10 therefore sits between 105 € and 80 €, an Ultra 2 between 165 € and 125 €. The Cellular version adds 45 € on the Series 11 and 15 € on the Series 8.
Sell a broken Apple Watch, even with cracked glass
A crack across the display glass, a touchscreen that no longer responds or a watch that will not charge is no reason for us to say no. As long as no third-party shop has opened it, we buy a broken Apple Watch as faulty: a Series 9 from 30 €, a Series 11 from 45 €, an Ultra 3 from 85 €. What decides the price of your Apple Watch
The glass matters most. Aluminium models have a softer front glass that collects fine scratches, while the stainless steel and titanium models and every Ultra use sapphire, which is far tougher. Our price list uses aluminium for Series and SE; a stainless steel or titanium version is valued after inspection. Case size does not change the amount, a 45 mm watch brings the same as a 41 mm one. Cellular adds a premium, the band does not.
We check the battery on every watch. You find its state on the watch under Settings › Battery › Battery Health. Above 80 percent is normal for a used watch; below that it often no longer lasts a full day, and that goes into the assessment.
Apple Trade In or selling your Apple Watch to Reparo?
Apple takes the Apple Watch back through Apple Trade In and gives you credit towards a purchase or an Apple Gift Card, not money in your account. Depending on the model, that credit can be higher than our offer, but you can only spend it at Apple. We pay money by PayPal or bank transfer, even for a watch with cracked glass. If you are buying a new watch from Apple anyway, the trade-in is convenient; if you want cash to use freely, sell to us.

Selling an old Apple Watch: Series 6 and earlier
We buy the Apple Watch at fixed prices from the Series 7 and the SE (2nd generation) onwards. For a Series 6, 5, 4 or 3 and the first SE there is currently no price list, because their remaining value is very low; call us on +4367762801426 if you want to offer one. If the watch has no value left, Apple recycles it for free, and every Vienna recycling centre (Mistplatz) takes it as electronic waste.

Getting your Apple Watch ready to sell
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap All Watches, then the info button next to your Apple Watch and Unpair Apple Watch. On a Cellular watch you remove the mobile plan at the same time. Unpairing erases the watch and removes Activation Lock; we cannot buy an Apple Watch that is still locked. Apple explains the steps on its own support page.
So what do you need to do before selling your Apple Watch? You do not have to erase or factory reset it separately, unpairing does both in one step. The only other thing to remember is cancelling the watch plan with your mobile carrier if it has Cellular.

Do I need to erase my Apple Watch before selling it?
Yes, by unpairing it on your iPhone: Watch app, All Watches, info button, Unpair Apple Watch. That erases the watch and removes it from your Apple Account. If you only reset it on the watch itself, Activation Lock may stay on, and then we cannot buy it.
What should I do with my old Apple Watch?
From the Series 7 and SE (2nd generation) onwards we buy it at fixed prices. We value an older watch on request, although its remaining value is often low. Otherwise there is free recycling at Apple or a Vienna recycling centre, so the battery does not end up in household waste.
Can you sell an Apple Watch with a broken screen?
Yes. We buy an Apple Watch with cracked glass, a dead touchscreen or a failing battery, as long as it was never opened by a third party. We then pay around 30 percent of the like-new price, for an Ultra 2 from 60 €. Just make sure you have unpaired it from your iPhone first.
Do you pay more for an Apple Watch with Cellular?
Yes, between 15 and 45 € depending on the model: 15 € on the Series 8, 35 € on the SE (2nd generation), 45 € on the Series 11. A red ring or dot on the Digital Crown shows that your watch has Cellular. Every Ultra has Cellular, so it is already in the price.
Does the case size of my Apple Watch change the trade-in price?
No. Whether 41 or 45 mm, 42 or 46 mm, the larger Apple Watch brings the same amount as the smaller one, because the second-hand market hardly tells them apart. The case material, the state of the glass and Cellular matter more.
Can I send my Apple Watch from anywhere in Austria for free?
Yes. Whether you live in Salzburg, Klagenfurt or Vienna, you get an insured shipping label by email and drop the watch at the post office. Shipping costs you nothing. Pack the watch well padded in a small box so the glass is protected on the way.
What does it cost if I decline the checked offer for my Apple Watch?
Sending it in is free. If our checked price differs from the estimate and you want the watch back, we charge 10 € for return shipping. Before you decide, we tell you exactly what we found on the glass, case or battery.
How do I get paid for the Apple Watch I sold?

Do I have to include the band and charger with my Apple Watch?
No. Band, charging cable and box add nothing to the price, so keep them or sell them separately. Just send us the watch itself. An original band does no harm either if you have no other use for it.
Which Apple Watch models does Reparo buy?
At fixed prices, the Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) and SE 3, the Series 7 to 11 and the Ultra, Ultra 2 and Ultra 3. Series and SE are priced with an aluminium case, the Cellular version with a premium. Older models are valued on request.
Can I sell a refurbished Apple Watch to you?
Yes. A refurbished Apple Watch from refurbed or Back Market is bought at the same price as one bought new. If parts were replaced during refurbishment, mention it in the calculator. What counts is what our technician finds on inspection.
