An iPad Pro 11-inch M5 with 256 GB that shows no marks brings up to 625 € with us. With light marks we pay up to 515 €, with clearly visible scratches up to 390 €, and faulty but never opened from 190 €. Because the M5 is so new, we buy most devices in the top level. A single scratch in the glass already costs 110 €, though, and a crack leads straight to the faulty price. With 512 GB we add 75 € in top condition and 60 € with light marks.

M5 or M4? And what lowers the price of the new Pro
Under Settings › General › About you see the exact model name. The distinction pays off: for the 11-inch Pro with M5 we pay up to 625 €, for the M4 model up to 545 €. On the M5 the price is lowered mainly by a crack in the glass or an OLED fault, both count as faulty with a price from 190 €. Scratches and pressure marks cost one level. There is no separate cellular bonus on the 11-inch M5.

Selling the iPad Pro M5: the process

Even an almost new Pro is linked to your account. Make a backup, then: Settings, your name, Find My, Find My iPad off. Then sign out and remove accessories under Bluetooth. Finally erase all content and settings under General › Transfer or Reset iPad, and an eSIM is deleted along with it. If the device is covered by an AppleCare plan, cancel it with Apple separately.
