Oppo & Realme repair Vienna — BBK group, one workshop

Oppo and Realme both belong to the BBK group — the same parent organisation as OnePlus and Vivo. That has a practical upside for repair: many boards, batteries and camera modules share components. This lets us fix even less common models faster than shops that don't know these brands. In Vienna there are barely any workshops that repair Oppo or Realme — Reparo is one of the few, with an English-speaking team for international customers.

Oppo repair Vienna — Find X to A-series

Oppo covers three very different segments. The Oppo Find X5 Pro and Find X7 are technical flagships with a high-end camera system (Hasselblad collaboration), curved AMOLED and ColorOS. Repairs in this class are involved and need precise tooling. The Reno line (8, 10, 12) is mid-range with simpler construction. The A-series — A16, A72, A74, A94 — is the entry-level segment with LCD displays and faster repairability. We handle all three segments.

Oppo screen replacement — AMOLED and LCD

The most common Oppo request: screen replacement after a drop. The Find X2 Pro and X5 Pro use curved AMOLED — more involved and pricier. A-series and entry-level Reno models use LCD panels, which are cheaper to swap. Oppo screen replacement cost depends heavily on the model — diagnosis clarifies that up front (€25, waived upon order).

Realme repair — from Realme 8 to Realme GT 3 with Game Mode

Realme is the budget-performance segment of the BBK group, running Realme UI. In Vienna we see Realme GT 2, Realme 8 Pro and Realme 11 most often, plus the Realme C-series which is hugely popular below 200 €. Typical issues: cracked display after a drop, fading battery, SuperVOOC charging port wobble. The upside: thanks to the Oppo relationship, Realme parts are reasonably well stocked, which keeps repair turnarounds short.

When an Oppo or Realme repair is not worth it

We are honest: for some older A-series models (A16, A16s) and budget Realme entry phones (Realme 5, 5i), a screen replacement for €129 no longer makes economic sense if the device is only worth €60 to €80 second-hand. In such cases we advise against repair after diagnosis (€25) and tell you straight — that is fairer than pushing through a job you will replace two months later anyway. For Find X5 Pro, Reno 10 or Realme GT 2 the maths usually looks very different.

Both belong to the BBK group and share many parts, which simplifies repair at our workshop. Price-wise Oppo repairs sit slightly above Realme thanks to the higher-grade panels.
Will SuperVOOC fast charging still work after a battery replacement?
Yes — provided a SuperVOOC-compatible battery is fitted. The SuperVOOC charging protocol runs through a chip inside the battery that communicates with the charger. We use compatible batteries so full SuperVOOC charging speed (up to 100W+ on supported models) is preserved. Cheap third-party batteries often break this handshake.
How long does an Oppo or Realme repair take?
A-series and entry-level Reno models: 45 to 60 minutes. Find X flagships with curved AMOLED: 60 to 90 minutes. Realme GT: around 60 minutes. Water damage takes 1 to 2 days.
Is the Oppo Find X5 Pro hard to repair?
The Find X5 Pro is one of the more involved repairs: the curved AMOLED is tightly bonded, the camera system is complex. A screen repair takes 60 to 90 minutes. We have experience with this line and keep parts for the most common defects on stock.
Can I send my Oppo or Realme in by post?
Yes. The send-in service works for the whole of Austria. You ship the device, we send a quote upfront, and after your confirmation we repair and return it. For common models like Oppo A74 or Realme 8 this runs in 3 to 4 business days. Perfect for English-speaking customers outside Vienna.
Do you also repair older Oppo models like the Find X2 Pro?
Yes. The Oppo Find X2 Pro is a good repair candidate — the curved AMOLED can still be replaced, and parts remain available. For very old models (Oppo R-series, Find X1) sourcing can take a few extra days.
Realme GT — repair or replace?
A Realme GT 2 or GT 3 costs €350 to €500 new. A screen replacement starts at €69, a battery swap at €49. If the device is otherwise intact, repair is almost always worth it. Realme GT devices have powerful processors with Game Mode — with a new screen or battery they last another 2 to 3 years.
Oppo A-series repair — which models do you handle?
We repair the most common A-series models: Oppo A16, A16s, A17, A72, A74, A94 and A94 5G. All use LCD displays that swap out relatively easily. Screen replacement from €59, usually within 45 to 60 minutes.
Will I lose data during an Oppo repair?
For a screen or battery swap no data is touched. We still recommend a backup before handover. Only if the board or software are directly affected can data loss occur — we tell you up front if that risk exists. Diagnosis €25 waived upon repair.
Is my Oppo still water-resistant after the repair?
Models with IP certification like the Oppo Find X5 Pro (IP54) officially lose certification once the housing is opened. We use high-grade seals on reassembly — that gives good protection but does not replace the original IP rating.
Oppo camera repair — glass or module?
For the Oppo Find X3 Pro or X5 Pro with Hasselblad camera system: if only the protective glass is broken, a glass swap is enough. If the module itself is damaged, the whole module has to be replaced. We check this during diagnosis and recommend the cheapest sensible route.
How can I tell whether the screen or the board is faulty on my Oppo?
Screen defect: crack in the glass, black areas, lines, touchscreen only partly responding. Board issue: device won't turn on, no response despite a charged battery, frequent crashes. Diagnosis (€25) clarifies this precisely.
Does my Oppo lose its warranty when repaired by a third party?
Yes, a repair through a non-authorised provider can affect the manufacturer warranty. Since Oppo doesn't have a wide authorised service network in Austria, this point is often purely theoretical. We provide our own 6-month warranty on every repair, valid Austria-wide.
