Poco F6 Pro Screen Replacement Vienna
Dark shadows around the Poco F6 Pro punch-hole, black blotches instead of even black, edge pixels reacting with a lag during dark image content? No shop visit – via pickup service in Vienna or send-in from all of Austria.

What to expect during the screen replacement
The Poco F6 Pro is opened, the damaged WQHD+ AMOLED panel including the adhesive bonds is removed and replaced with a precise-fit spare panel. Important on the F6 Pro: the punch-hole cut-out for the front camera must align exactly – otherwise light halos appear at the edge.
Around 2–3 hours processing time. Pickup service in Vienna: return usually the same working day. Send-in from other federal states: 1–3 working days after arrival, insured return shipping included.
The WQHD+ AMOLED again shows even black – no black crush, no shadows at the punch-hole. Touch, 120 Hz mode and the brightness curve are checked. 120W HyperCharge stays untouched during the screen replacement. All apps, photos and settings are preserved.
€199 fixed price incl. panel, installation and 6 months warranty. Diagnostic check 25 EUR, which is credited when you place the order – so you only pay the repair price. No hidden surcharges.
Typical screen damage on the Poco F6 Pro
Dark halos form on the WQHD+ AMOLED around the punch-hole front camera – dark image areas run unevenly, subtle grey tones tip into hard black surfaces. A typical edge-panel symptom on the F6 Pro.
When playing dark videos or games, the pixels in the edge zone react with a visible lag – a black image transition shows brief smearing at the edge. The AMOLED pixel drive has partially failed.
After a drop or prolonged pressure, irregular dark areas or cloudy structures appear in the AMOLED. The high-resolution panel can have internal cracks without the cover glass visibly breaking.
After an impact a fine crack at the glass edge is often enough – it quickly travels across the display surface. If the break is left untreated, dust gets under the glass and damages the AMOLED beneath.
Although the F6 Pro runs at 120 Hz, content no longer scrolls smoothly – frames are visibly dropped. The panel or the display controller no longer work together cleanly; a swap restores the full frame rate.
Keyboard inputs at the edge areas register offset, swipes don't trigger. The digitizer layer has contact issues with the panel – more frequent on the Poco F6 Pro due to the thin edge construction than on flat entry-level devices.

How the Poco F6 Pro screen replacement works
-
Pickup in Vienna or postal send-in
Book an appointment – Reparo collects the Poco F6 Pro from you in Vienna or you send it in by post. No trip to the workshop, no shop visit.
-
Diagnosis of the WQHD+ panel
We check whether only the AMOLED module or also the digitizer, punch-hole alignment or display controller are affected. Black crush and laggy edge pixels become visible on the test image. Diagnostic check 25 EUR, waived on repair order.
-
Open the housing and remove the panel
The rear housing is warmed, adhesive bonds are released in a controlled way. The defective AMOLED panel is carefully separated from the mid-frame – on the F6 Pro the edge adhesive bead is especially narrow.
-
Fit the new WQHD+ AMOLED
The precise-fit spare panel is aligned to the punch-hole front camera, the flex cables are clipped to the mainboard, fresh adhesive layers are applied.
-
Function test for black crush and 120 Hz
A solid-tone test checks the black level and colour homogeneity – especially at the edges and around the punch-hole camera. 120 Hz mode, touch precision, the brightness sensor and 120W HyperCharge are checked.
-
Handover with 6 months warranty
Return via pickup service or insured post. 6 months warranty on panel, touch and installation – for problems without new external impact, free rectification.
Process without a shop visit – for Vienna via pickup service, for the rest of Austria via send-in.
Screen replacement on the Poco F6 Pro – does it make economic sense?
The Poco F6 Pro is a 2024 flagship with WQHD+ AMOLED, 120W HyperCharge and Redmi K70 DNA – features otherwise found only on far pricier devices. A screen replacement for €199 keeps the full feature set. A Xiaomi 14 as a comparable flagship starts at around €899, a current Poco F7 Pro at about €599.
- €199 fixed price – incl. WQHD+ panel
- 120W HyperCharge, 120 Hz, camera stay
- Apps, logins and settings fully preserved
- 6 months warranty on panel & labour
- Ready in around 2–3 hours
- From around €899 (Xiaomi 14, RRP)
- Data migration and re-setup of apps
- Getting used to HyperOS anew, re-enrolling fingerprint ID
- Sell or properly dispose of the old device
As long as the Poco F6 Pro only has screen damage, the swap for €199 is the clearly cheaper option – the device's flagship level is preserved.
Which display does Reparo fit on the Poco F6 Pro?
We use a tested 6.67" WQHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate – identical in resolution (3200×1440) and brightness curve to the original panel of the Poco F6 Pro. The punch-hole cut-out of the front camera is matched to the housing down to the millimetre. Before installation, the touch layer, black homogeneity (anti-black-crush check) and brightness are tested – only then do we fit the panel.
Poco F6 Pro WQHD+ display defective – why such specific symptoms?
The Poco F6 Pro carries the strongest display in the F6 line: a 6.67" WQHD+ AMOLED with 3200×1440 pixels and 120 Hz – the Redmi K70 offshoot for Europe. It is exactly this premium resolution that makes the panel more sensitive: the individual sub-pixels are more densely packed, every drive more precise – and every bit of damage shows more clearly. Black-crush effects at the punch-hole are typical: the pixel rows around the cut-out lie closest to the adhesive channel, and in a drop they take the strongest mechanical impulse.
Laggy edge pixels in dark image content are likewise characteristic. The WQHD+ panel drives its pixels row by row – if the drive at the edge is microscopically interrupted, the outer pixel rows react measurably slower than the inner ones. In everyday use this looks like a brief smear effect when a dark image builds up quickly. A panel swap brings back the consistent 120 Hz performance.
Why a WQHD+ screen replacement is more careful than an FHD panel
For a simple FHD panel (Full HD resolution), a rough black test is enough. On the WQHD+ of the F6 Pro we additionally check: colour gradient in dark scenes, pixel drive in edge zones, black crush at the punch-hole and homogeneity at 20% brightness. These checks uncover micro-defects that wouldn't catch the eye at all at lower resolutions – but on the F6 Pro they would be a complaint case. That is why Reparo builds especially carefully here.
Punch-hole alignment: the millimetre difference
On the Poco F6 Pro the cut-out for the front camera must align exactly with the housing – an offset of under a millimetre is already visible. We use precise-fit spare panels with the correct punch-hole position and check after installation that no light ring forms around the camera. That is a detail often overlooked in inexperienced repairs and later leads to a visible defect.
Your pickup service in Vienna runs without detours: book an appointment, we come to you. From the other federal states you send the Poco F6 Pro in by post – return time 1–3 working days after arrival. Our workshop in 1020 Vienna is not a walk-in workshop; we handle the entire process by phone, email or via the online booking.

Frequently asked questions about the Poco F6 Pro screen replacement
Poco F6 Pro screen replacement — what's the price at Reparo?
The screen replacement on the Poco F6 Pro costs €199 as a fixed price – including the WQHD+ AMOLED spare panel, professional installation, a touch and black-crush test, plus 6 months warranty. The diagnostic check (25 EUR) is fully waived once you order the repair. So you pay €199 – no more.
What is black crush on the AMOLED and how does Reparo repair it?
Black crush means dark image areas lose their fine grey gradations and tip into hard black surfaces – often with dark halos around the punch-hole. On the Poco F6 Pro this points to damaged pixel rows in the edge zone. Reparo swaps the complete WQHD+ panel – after installation, black levels and grey gradients are even again.
Why does the screen cost €199 on the Poco F6 Pro?
The WQHD+ AMOLED of the F6 Pro has the highest resolution of all Poco models (3200×1440) and 120 Hz support. The spare panel is therefore considerably higher quality than standard FHD panels, and the testing for black crush, pixel homogeneity and punch-hole alignment is more involved. That is reflected in the fixed price.
Is 120W HyperCharge preserved after the screen replacement?
Yes. The screen replacement affects only the AMOLED panel and the digitizer – the charging electronics, USB-C port and 120W HyperCharge circuit stay fully untouched. After installation we check the charging speed as a quality control.
How long does the repair on the Poco F6 Pro take?
Around 2–3 hours of pure processing time. With pickup service in Vienna you usually get the device back the same working day. With send-in from other federal states the return time is 1–3 working days after arrival – including insured return shipping.
Can I drop the Poco F6 Pro off directly for the repair?
No. Reparo works exclusively via pickup service (Vienna) or send-in (nationwide). Our workshop in 1020 Vienna has no customer reception. The advantage: you don't have to plan a trip to the workshop – we come to you or collect the device from the post.
How does the pickup service for the Poco F6 Pro in Vienna work?
Simply book an appointment and provide your address – Reparo comes to you at the agreed time. The Poco F6 Pro is taken along, the screen swapped in our workshop, and the repaired device handed back to you at home or in the office. No trip, no waiting on-site.
From which federal states can I send the Poco F6 Pro in?
From all of Austria – Styria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Burgenland, Tyrol and Vorarlberg. On request we send you a shipping label, you pack the device well and send it in. After the repair it goes back insured – usually within 1–3 working days after arrival.
Is my data preserved during the screen replacement?
Yes. During the screen replacement only the AMOLED panel and digitizer are exchanged – the internal storage, apps, photos, contacts, logins and HyperOS settings stay untouched. A backup is still recommended as a general precaution.
What warranty does Reparo grant on the screen replacement?
6 months warranty on the new WQHD+ AMOLED panel, the installation and the touch function. If problems arise in that time without new external impact – such as pixel faults, touch dropouts or renewed black crush – Reparo handles the rectification at no extra cost.
Is the spare panel an original or an aftermarket part?
We use tested, high-quality replacement AMOLEDs that match the original panel in resolution (WQHD+ 3200×1440), colour space and brightness curve. In everyday use they are indistinguishable from the original. On request we explain the differences before the repair by phone.
What does the diagnostic check cost on the Poco F6 Pro?
The diagnostic check costs 25 EUR and is fully credited against the repair price once you place the order with us. On the Poco F6 Pro we additionally check, besides display and touch, the punch-hole alignment, the charging circuit and the fingerprint sensor – so you receive a complete assessment.
Poco F6 Pro display after water damage – what to do?
Switch the device off immediately and do not charge it, to prevent corrosion on the board. Send the F6 Pro in as soon as possible or book the pickup service – we check display, board and charging circuit. Diagnostic check 25 EUR, a pure screen-damage repair stays at €199; for additional water-damage work we give an estimate in advance.
Is the screen replacement on the Poco F6 Pro still worth it in 2026?
Definitely. The F6 Pro is from 2024, technically right up to date with WQHD+, 120 Hz and 120W charging. With €199 for the screen replacement you keep a flagship-level device. A comparable Xiaomi 14 starts at around €899, a Poco F7 Pro at about €599 – the swap is the clearly most economical choice.
How does the F6 Pro display differ from the standard F6 in the repair?
The standard F6 has an FHD+ AMOLED, the F6 Pro a WQHD+ AMOLED with higher pixel density and a different panel controller. Spare parts, alignment of the punch-hole camera and the quality check (black-crush test at higher resolution) are more involved on the Pro – that's why the price is €199 rather than the standard F6 price.
