The S23+ has a large flat glass back with three separately protruding cameras. If the phone lies on the table without a case, the camera rings carry its weight and get scratched. Scratches on the lens glass are the most common reason an S23+ lands one grade lower at the inspection.

Why the S23+ brings more than the S23
The S23+ has a 6.6-inch display, a 4,700 mAh battery and charges at up to 45 watts. It was also never sold with 128 GB; every unit has at least 256 GB. That is why we pay more than for the Galaxy S23. For the top model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra with S Pen and 200 MP camera, it is up to 270 EUR.

Checklist for your S23+ before shipping
Create a backup with Smart Switch or Google backup, then remove first the Google and then the Samsung account under Settings › Accounts and backup. After that reset the S23+ to factory settings under General management and take out the SIM card. If it then starts with the welcome screen, it is ready.
