So it pays to clean the phone thoroughly before selling and look at it in daylight: an apparent scratch is often just a film of grease or a mark on the screen protector.

Release the S26+ before it is shipped
Save your data with Smart Switch or in the cloud. Then remove the Google and Samsung accounts under Settings › Accounts and backup and reset the S26+ to factory settings under General management. Transfer or deactivate your SIM or eSIM with your provider beforehand, and take out a physical SIM card.
