Samsung released the Galaxy A56 in March 2025 with a quiet but very welcome upgrade: 45 W Super Fast Charging. Every A50-series before it topped out at 25 W. Two options on the screen replacement. The original Super AMOLED 120 Hz panel (EUR 149) gives factory-identical colour calibration and the full HDR10+ behaviour. The certified aftermarket AMOLED (EUR 119) is fully touch-accurate and 120 Hz-capable, with minor colour deviation that most users never spot day to day. Because the A56 keeps its fingerprint sensor in the power button on the side — not under the screen — both panels stay fully compatible after fitting. We test colour uniformity, 120 Hz refresh and brightness before closing the device.
Battery replacement with IP67 seal renewal — that is why it costs EUR 79
Opening an IP67-rated phone correctly is more involved than opening a non-sealed device. We renew the perimeter gasket on every battery swap, otherwise the rating becomes meaningless. A new 5,000 mAh cell brings back the full day-long runtime, and we explicitly test 45 W Super Fast Charging behaviour after the swap with a known-good Samsung Super Fast charger.
No headphone jack — USB-C is your only wired path
The A56 dropped the 3.5 mm jack. Wired audio runs over USB-C only, so a damaged charging port also means no wired headphones. EUR 69 covers the full port replacement plus a fast-charge verification with a 45 W adapter and a data-transfer check before you get the device back.

Does 45 W Super Fast Charging still work after a battery swap?
Yes. We use replacement cells that fully support 45 W and we explicitly verify the fast-charge handshake with a Samsung Super Fast adapter before returning the device. That 45 W step up from 25 W is the A56’s headline feature, so we test it every time.
Why is the A56 battery EUR 79 and not EUR 69 like older A-series?
The A56 is IP67-rated. Opening and resealing an IP67 device correctly takes more time and a fresh perimeter gasket on every job. That extra labour and material is reflected in the EUR 79 price.
What exactly does IP67 protect against on the A56?
Full dust resistance and freshwater immersion up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Salt water, chlorinated pool water, sweat and cleaning products are explicitly excluded. After any opened repair the rating is restored as well as physically possible, but Samsung no longer warrants the factory IP67 rating.
Does the Galaxy A56 have a 3.5 mm headphone jack?
No. Wired audio on the A56 runs through USB-C only. A damaged charging port therefore also means no wired headphones until the port is replaced. Port repair is EUR 69.
How long does the Galaxy A56 repair take?
Screen, battery, back cover and charging port repairs are typically done within 1–2 working days. Water damage takes 2–3 days because the board needs to be cleaned, dried and tested under load.
Will I lose data during a screen or battery repair?

Does the A56 still get Galaxy AI features in 2026?

Yes, fully. The A56 keeps the fingerprint sensor in the power button on the right edge of the frame, not under the screen. Replacing the display has zero impact on biometric unlock with either an original or an aftermarket panel.
What are the most common A56 faults so far?
Cracked 6.7 inch Super AMOLED from drops (large surface area), USB-C wear from frequent 45 W cycles, back-glass cracks when the device lands on the rear. Battery degradation is rare on a 2025 phone but will become common after 18–24 months of heavy use.
My A56 got wet despite IP67 — what now?
Power the device off immediately, do not try to charge it. Salt water, chlorine, fizzy drinks and aged seals all bypass the IP67 rating. The earlier we receive the device for an ultrasonic board clean, the better the chance of saving the logic board and the data.
