What is my Xbox worth?
An Xbox Series X brings up to 250 € in like-new condition, 205 € well kept. The Series S brings up to 130 € like new and 105 € well kept, whether white with 512 GB or black with 1 TB. Faulty, unopened consoles start at 70 € (Series X) and 40 € (Series S).
Within one model the HDMI port, drive, fan and a working wireless controller make the difference. As of September 2026.
Faulty Xbox? We still buy it
A torn-off HDMI port, a drive that no longer pulls in discs, or an Xbox that shuts down under load are no reason for us to refuse. As long as nobody has opened the console before, you get a price for a faulty Series X or Series S too. We fix the fault in our Vienna workshop ourselves.
Before shipping: reset your Xbox
Your saves are stored in the Microsoft cloud. Remove the home Xbox setting under Settings › General › Personalisation and reset the console under Settings › System › Console info › Reset console with “Reset and remove everything”. That deletes your account, games and payment details.

How much will I get for my Xbox?
A Series X brings up to 250 € like new and 205 € well kept with us, a Series S up to 130 € like new and 105 € well kept. With signs of use the amounts are lower; the model page shows the exact value.
Can I sell an Xbox One or Xbox 360 to you?
We have no trade-in price for the Xbox One, One S, One X or Xbox 360; the calculator only covers the Series X and S. The Xbox 360 is mainly of interest to collectors today. If you want to sell an Xbox One, call us on +4367762801426 and we will tell you honestly whether shipping it is worth it.
Do you buy a faulty Xbox too?
Yes, as long as it was never opened. For a faulty Series X we pay from 70 €, for a faulty Series S from 40 €. State an HDMI fault, drive problem or overheating in the calculator.
Is the Xbox Series X worth more than the Series S?
Yes, almost twice as much: 250 € compared with 130 € in like-new condition. The Series X has a disc drive, more power for 4K and 1 TB of storage.
Does the controller have to be included when I sell my Xbox?
No, but a working wireless controller clearly raises the value, and a second one adds a bonus. If it is missing, we still buy the Xbox and deduct the replacement.
How do I reset my Xbox for selling?
Remove the home Xbox under Settings › General › Personalisation, then choose “Reset and remove everything” under System › Console info › Reset console. We cannot buy an Xbox with a Microsoft account signed in.
What should I keep in mind when I sell my Xbox?
Reset the console, gather controller and cables, take any disc out of the drive and state honestly what does not work. Then there are rarely surprises with the price after the inspection.
Do you buy Xbox games, headsets or gift cards?
No, we only buy consoles with controller and cables. Games, headsets, steering wheels and gift cards are not part of the trade-in.
Can I send my Xbox from anywhere in Austria for free?
Yes. The insured label is free throughout Austria, from Vienna via Linz to Bregenz. You drop the Xbox at the post office, and the price is the same everywhere.
What does it cost if I want my Xbox back after the inspection?
We charge 10 € for return shipping if you decline our inspected offer. If the price differs from the estimate, we explain why beforehand.
How and when do I get the money for my Xbox?
Around 48 hours after the inspection by bank transfer or PayPal. There is no cash payout, and the price only becomes binding with the inspection.
Can I trade in an Xbox at GameStop or MediaMarkt in Austria?
GameStop closed its Austrian stores in early 2023, according to press reports. MediaMarkt buys game consoles but, according to its trade-in page, pays only as a gift card. With us you get money for your Xbox by bank transfer or PayPal.
Is there a place in Vienna where I can sell my Xbox in person?
We handle the trade-in by post, for Vienna just as for the rest of Austria. You get a free label, drop the Xbox at the nearest post office and do not have to wait for an appointment.
Will I lose my games if I sell my Xbox?
No. Digital purchases and saves belong to your Microsoft account. Sign in on your next Xbox or your PC and keep playing.
