The replacement panel is more complex to bond than a flat S24 Ultra screen because the digitizer wraps over the curve. The 200 MP camera and 10x periscope
The S23 Ultra has a quad camera: 200 MP main, 10x periscope telephoto, 3x telephoto, and 12 MP ultra-wide. The 10x periscope sits behind its own protective glass cover — a separate component from the camera module itself. If the cover cracks, the module beneath is usually unharmed and we replace only the glass for far less than a full-module swap. Call us before deciding whether you need a module or only the cover. The 200 MP main has its own square cover plate that handles the larger sensor diameter.
S Pen channel and the Ultra-only repair workflow
The S23 Ultra was the only S23 model with an integrated S Pen. The pen slides into a tunnel that runs through the lower-right corner of the chassis, parallel to the speaker assembly. Any back-glass or battery repair on the Ultra has to keep the S Pen tunnel sealed and the digitizer aligned with the panel above it. After every Ultra repair we test all 4,096 pressure levels of the S Pen across the curved screen.
Why a battery swap on the S23 Ultra costs more than the S23 or S23+
The 5,000 mAh cell is positioned deeper in the chassis than the cell in the S23 or S23+ because the S Pen channel and the wider camera module take up internal space. Removing it without bending the cell requires a slower, more careful pry. Hence EUR 99 on the Ultra against EUR 89 on the standard S23 and S23+. The result is identical: full original capacity, 6 months warranty, no software handshake issues.
