The original display costs EUR 129, the certified aftermarket panel EUR 109. Since the Galaxy A52 has a side fingerprint sensor, both variants are fully compatible. In both cases we renew the IP67 gasket.

The Galaxy A52 has the fingerprint sensor on the side in the power button, not in the display. It is therefore completely independent of the fitted panel — whether original or aftermarket, unlocking works without limitations. That is a key difference from the predecessor A51 with its in-display sensor.

The A52 4G uses the Snapdragon 720G with a 90 Hz display. The A52 5G has the faster Snapdragon 750G, 5G support and 120 Hz. Visually both are identical, but spare parts are not compatible. Repair prices may differ.

Usually yes. The Snapdragon 720G still runs smoothly in 2025, and the 90 Hz AMOLED is pleasant. An aftermarket display for EUR 109 makes sense — especially if the device otherwise works flawlessly. The original (EUR 129) is recommended if you have demands for colour accuracy.

Yes, with a booked appointment you hand the A52 over in the 22nd district. Without an appointment nobody is on site, because Reparo has no open workshop. It is more convenient with the pickup service in Vienna or by insured send-in.

No. The storage of the A52 is not touched during a display or battery swap, photos, chats and apps stay intact. With water damage, on the other hand, the board can be affected – which is why we recommend a backup before every repair.

Display and battery swaps usually take 1–2 working days after arrival. Water damage needs 3–5 working days, because the A52 has to dry after cleaning and run through an endurance test. After the diagnosis you receive a cost estimate by email.
