Why do I get less for the PS5 Digital than for the disc PS5?
Because buyers of the disc version can also use cheap second-hand games and Blu-rays. The disc PS5 therefore gets 200 € like new, the Digital Edition 170 €. Well kept, it is 165 € versus 135 €.
Will I lose my games if I sell my PS5 Digital?
No. Your digital purchases are tied to your PlayStation account. Sign in on your new console and download them again. Back up your saves to the cloud or a USB stick beforehand.
Do you pay more for a PS5 Digital with an added disc drive?
The Slim Digital Edition can take Sony’s separate disc drive. If the drive is included, choose the PS5 Slim, which gets 240 € like new. The first PS5 Digital cannot be fitted with a drive.
How much do scratches take off a PS5 Digital?
Marks that only show against the light keep the PS5 Digital at 135 €. Clear scratches, dents or yellowed side panels put it at 100 €. Dust in the vents is not a flaw, we remove it when we refurbish the console.
Do you buy a PS5 Digital that only blinks blue with no picture?

Does the DualSense matter when I sell my PS5 Digital?
Yes. A flawless DualSense raises the value, and a second one adds a bonus. If a stick drifts or the controller no longer pairs, we deduct a little. Without a controller we buy the PS5 Digital too, at a lower price.
Do I have to ship the PS5 Digital in its original box?
No. Together with the original cables, the box adds a small bonus, but it is not required. What matters is sturdy packaging, as the side panels of the PS5 Digital scratch easily.
Can I send my PS5 Digital for free from another Austrian state?
Yes. Whether you are in Carinthia, Tyrol or Burgenland, the insured label is free and valid at every post office in Austria. You get the same price as someone in Vienna.
Who pays for return shipping if I reject the price for my PS5 Digital?
We charge 10 € for return shipping if you decline our inspected offer. Otherwise there are no costs. If the price differs from the estimate, we explain what we found on your PS5 Digital beforehand.
How do I receive the money for my PS5 Digital Edition?

MediaMarkt buys game consoles but, according to its trade-in page, pays only with a gift card. With us the PS5 Digital brings up to 170 € in money, by bank transfer or PayPal. refurbed currently buys phones only, not consoles.
Is it worth selling my PS5 Digital when I switch to the PS5 Pro?
Yes, because the PS5 Pro has no disc drive either, so your digital games keep running on it. A well-kept PS5 Digital gives you 135 € towards the upgrade, 170 € like new.
Should I clean my PS5 Digital before selling it?
A damp cloth on the side panels is enough. Do not open the console to clean the fan: a device that has been opened counts as opened by a third party and brings less. We do the internal cleaning ourselves.
Can I get cash for a PS5 Digital at a shop near me?
Whether a shop near you pays cash depends on the shop. We only buy by post, without a drop-off counter, and transfer the inspected price. In return, the price is the same all over Austria.
