Is an old PlayStation still worth selling?
Sony consoles hold their value on the used market surprisingly well. Even an older PS4 still brings a decent amount, a well-kept PS5 considerably more. The reference value is on the model page.
Do you buy faulty consoles?
Yes. A dead HDMI port, a rattling drive or crashes from overheating do not rule out a trade-in, as long as the console has not been opened improperly. We restore many of these in Vienna ourselves.
How is the console value calculated?
You enter model, condition and included accessories, and an instant non-binding estimate appears. The final amount is set after our technician checks it.
Do I get cash for my console?
No, we do not pay cash. The amount reaches you by PayPal or bank transfer, so every trade-in is clearly documented.
When is the money there after the sale?
Once your console has arrived and been checked, we pay out within around 48 hours, by PayPal or bank transfer.
Do I have to wipe my account and saves first?
Yes. Reset the console to factory settings, sign out of the PlayStation Network and deactivate it as your primary console. Data deletion is your responsibility, not ours.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. You get an insured free shipping label once you accept the estimated value. Your console is covered all the way to us.
Do accessories matter for the trade-in?
Yes. An included controller, the original cable and a clean casing raise the value. The more complete your console arrives, the higher the offer.
Is the Digital Edition worth less than the disc version?
Yes. Without the drive, the Digital variant is less flexible for buyers and sits below the matching disc model. On the PS5 the difference is most pronounced.
