The original at 319 EUR restores the large panel to factory quality, with full brightness and exact colour tuning. The aftermarket panel at 269 EUR is tested and perfectly adequate for everyday use. If you want to keep the S26 Plus for a long time or sell it on, go for the original.

Yes. With a display, battery or back glass replacement the S26 Plus is neither reset nor unlocked. We still recommend a backup beforehand. With water damage it depends on how badly the board is affected.
