The S25 Ultra is the first Galaxy Ultra with the «controversial S Pen»

The Galaxy S25 Ultra launched in January 2025 as Samsung's flagship Android — 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED with rounder corners than the S24 Ultra, titanium frame, Snapdragon 8 Elite (Galaxy edition), 200 MP main with 5x periscope, and an integrated S Pen. The single most-discussed change was that Samsung dropped Bluetooth from the S Pen on the S25 Ultra — no more remote-shutter, no air actions, no clicker for slides. It still draws, still writes, still works as a stylus, but the smart-features people loved on the S22 and S24 Ultra are gone. That is a software/hardware decision from Samsung, not a fault — we cannot bring Bluetooth back on the pen.

What we can fix on the S Pen — and what we cannot

We can fix: a pen that no longer slides smoothly out of the slot (slot cleaning, EUR 29), worn or broken pen tips (EUR 29 service), missing pressure sensitivity due to a damaged digitiser layer (full screen replacement), and water damage to the slot. We cannot fix: missing Bluetooth functionality — the S25 Ultra S Pen does not have a Bluetooth chip inside, so air actions are physically impossible on this model. If you absolutely need the Bluetooth pen features, the S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra still have them.

200 MP main, 5x periscope — what changes versus the S24 Ultra

The S25 Ultra keeps the 200 MP main sensor introduced on the S23 Ultra and the 5x periscope telephoto from the S24 Ultra, but the image processing runs through Galaxy AI Gen 2 features such as Generative Edit and ProVisual Engine. After a drop, the most common camera fault is a knocked-out main module or cracked rear lens cover glass — we replace the cover glass for EUR 19.90 per lens, or the affected module from EUR 89.

Why does my S25 Ultra S Pen no longer work as a clicker?

My S25 Ultra S Pen is stuck in the slot — can you fix that?
Yes, that is one of our most common Ultra repairs. Dust, pocket lint or a slightly bent pen can wedge the S Pen in the slot. A EUR 29 service includes slot cleaning, pen inspection and re-fit. If the pen tip is worn we replace it; if the pen body is damaged you can simply buy a replacement S Pen and we install it.
What about the 200 MP main camera after a drop — can it be saved?
In most cases yes. The 200 MP sensor and 5x periscope are mounted on a shared sub-frame with shock-absorbing pads. A hard drop can knock the lens stack out of alignment — soft photos, hunting autofocus. After a EUR 25 diagnosis we either swap the cracked lens glass for EUR 19.90 or replace the affected camera module from EUR 89.
Why is repairing the S25 Ultra more expensive than the S25 or S25+?
Three reasons. The S25 Ultra has a titanium frame that needs careful, controlled opening; the screen module includes the S Pen digitiser stack; and the rear camera assembly with the 200 MP main and 5x periscope is significantly more complex. Each of those adds parts cost and workshop time.
