Xiaomi Repair Vienna – Mi, Redmi & POCO with HyperOS and Leica Camera

Xiaomi broken? Reparo repairs the entire Xiaomi family in Vienna – from budget Redmi 9 to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagship with Leica camera. We swap AMOLED screens, replace batteries, fix HyperCharge charging ports and treat water damage. Express service available, diagnosis EUR 25 waived upon repair, 6-month warranty. Pickup and delivery in Vienna, send-in service for all of Austria. English-speaking team for Vienna's expat community.

How much does a Xiaomi repair cost? Screen replacement: Redmi models from EUR 49, POCO F/X and Mi models from EUR 59, Xiaomi 13/14/15 series from EUR 79. Battery replacement: Redmi from EUR 39, Mi and POCO from EUR 49. Charging port from EUR 49. You'll get the exact price after diagnosis, before we start – no work without your approval.

HyperCharge and HyperOS: what you need to know after a Xiaomi repair

Since the Xiaomi 12 generation, Xiaomi uses HyperCharge with up to 120 W (wired) and 50 W wireless. After a battery or charging port swap, HyperCharge keeps working – provided a compatible replacement battery is fitted and the port is soldered correctly. Cheap accessories can permanently reduce charging speed to standard levels. We use parts that are compatible with Xiaomi's charging technology. The operating system HyperOS (successor to MIUI) remains fully intact after a screen or battery swap – no data loss, no forced update. If your Mi Account is signed in, it stays signed in.

Redmi Note and POCO: repairs for Xiaomi's most popular series in Vienna

The Redmi Note series is Xiaomi's best-selling line – large AMOLED displays, long runtimes, affordable entry price. That's exactly why repairs pay off here: a screen replacement on the Redmi Note 13 starts at EUR 49 – far less than the device itself. The POCO F series targets the gaming segment with Snapdragon processors, HyperEngine optimisation and haptic feedback. POCO displays are built tight but can be replaced properly. Redmi budget models like the Redmi 9A and Redmi 10 use LCD panels with simpler disassembly – screen replacement from EUR 49, repair time 1–2 hours. The Mi 11 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra with Leica camera system need extra care during camera repairs – the camera module is tightly bonded to the housing structure.

Send-in service for all of Austria: customers from Graz, Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck and across Austria can ship in their Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO. Diagnosis EUR 25 (waived upon repair), quote before work begins, insured return shipping. Please call us first so we can pre-order the part. Ideal for English-speaking customers across Austria – we handle everything in English.

Frequently asked questions about Xiaomi repair Vienna

How much does a Xiaomi repair cost in Vienna?
Cost depends on model and defect. Screen replacement: Redmi models from EUR 49, POCO and Mi series from EUR 59, Xiaomi 13/14/15 from EUR 79. Battery replacement: Redmi from EUR 39, Mi/POCO from EUR 49. Charging port from EUR 49. Diagnosis EUR 25 – fully waived if you proceed with the repair.
Which Xiaomi models do you repair?
We repair the complete Xiaomi family: Xiaomi 12 through Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the Xiaomi 13T/14T series, all Redmi Note generations (9 through 14 Pro+), Redmi 9 through Redmi 13C, plus the POCO F and X series (F3 through F6 Pro, X3 through X6 Pro). Older Mi models (Mi 9 through Mi 11 Ultra) on request too.
Which defects are most common on Xiaomi phones?
The most common issue we see is cracked AMOLED displays on the Redmi Note – the large screen is especially vulnerable in drops. Battery capacity issues hit the Mi 10 and Mi 11 generation after 2–3 years. Charging port damage shows up more often on POCO F models that get heavy USB-C use. On the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Mi 11 Ultra we occasionally see cracked camera lenses.
Will HyperCharge still work after a battery or charging port swap?
Yes, provided compatible parts are used. Xiaomi's HyperCharge (up to 120 W on the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra) works via specific handshake between charger, cable and battery controller. We use batteries that support this protocol. With low-quality third-party batteries the phone charges, but often only at standard speed.
Does HyperOS survive a screen replacement?
Yes. A screen swap doesn't touch the operating system, your apps or your data. HyperOS and MIUI are software – they remain fully intact after any hardware repair. The only exception: in case of a full mainboard failure (e.g. water damage with corrosion) a software reset may be necessary.
Is it worth repairing a Redmi device or should I buy new?
For Redmi devices, repair pays off when the defect costs less than 50 % of the residual value. Example: Redmi Note 12 with cracked screen – repair EUR 49, residual value around EUR 120 → repair clearly worth it. For a Redmi 9 with multiple defects – battery plus screen damage – buying new may be cheaper. We give honest advice after diagnosis.
Does Xiaomi have water protection? What to do with water damage?
Only the flagship models have official water protection: Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Ultra with IP68, Xiaomi 13 with IP53. Budget Redmi models (Redmi Note, Redmi 9/10/12) usually have no IP rating and are particularly vulnerable to water damage. After water contact: switch off immediately, do not charge, do not blow – air pushes water deeper. Get the phone to us fast, we clean the mainboard in an ultrasonic bath.
What's special about POCO F series repairs?
The POCO F series (F3 through F6 Pro) uses Snapdragon processors, HyperEngine gaming optimisation and features like haptic motors and high-refresh AMOLED displays (120 Hz). The build is tighter than budget Xiaomis – the display is often bonded to the cooling system. On the POCO F4 GT, the shoulder triggers are separate parts that can break in drops. These repairs need experience with gaming phone architectures.
What happens during the diagnosis of my Xiaomi?
We check your device for the reported defect plus collateral damage – mainboard, battery, sensors, display functions. Diagnosis costs EUR 25 and is fully waived if you proceed with the repair. You then get a clear quote and decide for yourself.
Will I lose the warranty if I have my Xiaomi repaired by you?
Xiaomi's manufacturer warranty formally lapses with third-party repairs – that's the case with nearly all manufacturers. Since the Xiaomi warranty in Austria is limited to 2 years and many devices fall outside the warranty period anyway, this isn't a relevant downside for most customers. You also get our own 6-month repair warranty on parts and labour.
Can I send in my Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO by post?
Yes. Customers from all of Austria – Graz, Salzburg, Linz, Innsbruck, St. Pölten – can mail in their device. This applies to every model: Xiaomi flagships as well as Redmi budget devices or POCO gaming phones. Diagnosis EUR 25 (waived upon repair), quote before start, insured return shipping. Please call first so we can pre-order the right part. English-speaking support throughout.
What parts do you use for Xiaomi repairs?
We use OEM-compatible or high-quality aftermarket parts. For AMOLED displays on Xiaomi 13/14/15 models we make sure panels have correct colour and brightness calibration. For battery swaps we prioritise cells compatible with Xiaomi's HyperCharge protocol. Before the repair we tell you transparently which components are being used.
How long does a Xiaomi repair take?
Screen replacement on Redmi Note or POCO: 1–2 hours. Battery swap: 45–90 minutes. Charging port: 45–60 minutes. Water damage and mainboard repairs: 1–3 working days. We stock parts for common models; rarer devices may need ordering.
Do I need to book an appointment or can I just come by?
Reparo is appointment-based – no walk-in service. With an appointment we ensure the part for your Xiaomi model is on hand and you don't wait unnecessarily. For Redmi Note and POCO models we keep many parts in stock; for older Mi models prior coordination makes sense. Online booking takes under a minute, or call +43 677 62801426.
Is the Leica camera still fully functional after a Xiaomi camera lens swap?
With a pure lens swap (protective glass) the Leica optics and image processing remain fully intact – the camera hardware itself isn't touched. The Leica partnership covers optics, colour tuning and image processing software, not the protective glass. With a complete camera module swap (e.g. after a hard drop on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra or Mi 11 Ultra) we use original-compatible modules to preserve camera performance.
