A PS5 HDMI 2.1 port repair usually takes us 1–2 working days. You hand the PS5 in or send it by mail, we send a free quote, and once you approve we start. Express slots are available on request.
How much does a PS4 DualShock controller repair cost?
DualShock 4 drift fix starts at €29. This includes replacement of the faulty analog stick modules, full function test and 6-month warranty. Most DualShock controllers are done in 1–2 hours.
Do you also repair the PS5 DualSense controller?
Yes. PS5 DualSense controllers with stick drift, broken Adaptive Triggers or defective buttons we repair from €39. We also fix USB-C charging port damage and the L2/R2 trigger spring. Call us or book online.

What is the difference between BLOD and YLOD?
BLOD (Blue Light of Death) affects the PS4: the console blinks blue and doesn't start. The cause is often a software fault or a defective power supply. YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) is the classic PS3 problem – yellow blinking indicates GPU solder joints have detached from thermal stress. We repair both faults.
Is there a warranty on PlayStation repairs?
Yes. All repairs come with 6 months warranty – covering parts and labour. If the same defect reappears within that period, we fix it free of charge.
What does PS5 fan cleaning cost and when is it worth it?
A PS5 fan cleaning service starts at €49 and makes sense when the console gets loud, shuts down during long sessions or runs noticeably hotter than before. We open the housing, clean the heatsink and fan, replace the thermal paste and reassemble everything properly.
What is stick drift and why does it happen on DualSense?
Stick drift means uncontrolled movement in-game even though you're not touching the stick. The cause on DualSense is wear of the internal potentiometer – the carbon track wears down and outputs faulty signals. Sony adjusted the design slightly in later revisions, but the issue still occurs. We swap the defective stick module.
Will I lose my saved games during a PlayStation repair?
For hardware repairs like HDMI, fan or controller, your save games stay completely intact – we don't touch the internal storage. For repairs involving the mainboard (e.g. severe water damage), data loss can't be ruled out. We recommend a PS Plus cloud backup before drop-off either way.
Is a PS4 repair still worth it in 2026?
Yes, in most cases. A PS4 Pro with broken HDMI (€69 repair) still has a market value of €100–150 – the repair clearly pays off. It's different with an old PS4 Fat with multiple simultaneous defects: a used console can be cheaper. We give honest advice after diagnosis.
Can the PS5 be repaired after water damage?
It depends on how long the water was in contact and which components were affected. We clean the board in an ultrasonic bath, check HDMI port, power delivery and all connectors. The earlier you send the console in, the higher the success rate. Important: don't switch it on before it reaches us.
How much does an M.2 SSD upgrade for the PS5 cost?
Installing an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD in the PS5 costs from €29 labour – the SSD itself is not included. We install the SSD, mount the heatsink correctly and format the storage via the PS5 system menu. Recommended: at least a 1 TB Gen-4 SSD for full speed.
Which PS5 Slim problems do you repair?
The PS5 Slim (model CFI-2000) has a more compact cooling system that clogs with dust faster. We repair HDMI port damage, overheating via cleaning and thermal paste replacement, disc drive issues (disc variant only) and controller drift. The internals differ noticeably from the original PS5.
Can I clean my PS5 myself or do I need a workshop?
The outer faceplates come off easily and you can dust the fan from outside – that you can do yourself. For a thorough cleaning of the heatsink and a proper thermal paste swap, the console has to be opened. Leave that to us, since incorrect reassembly can permanently reduce cooling performance and liquid metal can short out components.
Do you also repair the disc drive on the PS5 Slim?
Yes. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition has a retrofittable disc drive – if you want to install the module or replace a defective one, we handle it. On the standard PS5 Slim we repair faulty disc drives that no longer recognise discs or jam during loading.
