How much does a Samsung screen repair cost? That depends heavily on the model. Galaxy A-series display from €59 (A10/A12), from €79 (A50/A51/A52), from €99 (A73 5G). Galaxy S10/S20 from €99, S21/S22 from €129, S23 Ultra from €179, S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra from €189. Reason for the price gap: the S-series uses Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels, which cost more than the LCD displays found in many A-models. Diagnosis €25 – waived if you proceed with the repair.

Why repair instead of buying new? A Galaxy S24 Ultra costs over €1,300 brand-new. A display replacement for €189 instead of a new device saves €1,100. For the A-series: a Galaxy A52 with a cracked display has a resale value of around €150 – a €79 repair is clearly the smarter choice. We give honest advice, even on the rare occasion when a repair isn't worth it.

Which defects do we fix? What is the difference between Samsung A-series and S-series when it comes to repair?
Main differences: display type and price. Many A-models (A10, A12, A21s) use LCD displays – cheaper to repair. The S-series and newer A-models (A52, A53, A73) have AMOLED or Dynamic AMOLED – more vivid colours, but pricier replacement parts. Technically AMOLED displays also take more effort to swap, as they have to be loosened with heat.
What is Dynamic AMOLED – and why does the display cost more?
Dynamic AMOLED 2X is Samsung's premium display technology: 120 Hz adaptive refresh, HDR10+, extremely high brightness. On the Galaxy S24 Ultra for example up to 2,600 nits. These panels are more expensive to manufacture than standard OLED or LCD – that's reflected in the spare part price. An original Dynamic AMOLED for an S24 Ultra costs significantly more than an LCD for a Galaxy A12.
Does a third-party repair affect Samsung Knox?
Samsung Knox is a hardware-based security platform. With a display or battery swap by a third-party workshop, Knox normally stays untouched – as long as no system software is modified. What can be affected: the Knox Warranty Bit, which trips when the bootloader is unlocked – but that's a separate setting. A normal hardware repair with us does not trigger it.
Does One UI stay intact after a display replacement?
Yes. One UI runs on the processor and storage – neither of which is touched during a display swap. All apps, data and settings remain fully intact. We still recommend a Samsung Cloud backup before any repair. For logic board defects or water damage, data loss cannot be ruled out.
What are the most common defects on Samsung Galaxy?
Most common: cracked display (drop damage, especially on AMOLED devices with curved glass like S21/S22/S23), battery degradation after 2–3 years, USB-C charging port (mechanical wear). On S-models: OLED burn-in after long display use at high brightness. On A-models: LCD layers occasionally separate from the glass on older devices.
What to do if your Samsung Galaxy has water damage?
Many Samsung Galaxy models carry IP67 or IP68 ratings (S-series, newer A-models) – meaning protection against brief submersion, not full waterproofing. Salt water or pressure breaches the seal. After water contact: switch off immediately, do not charge, do not blow into the ports. We clean the mainboard in an ultrasonic bath, replace affected capacitors, and check battery, display and charging port for corrosion.
How long does a Samsung repair take?
Display replacement 30–60 minutes, battery swap 30 minutes, charging port 30–45 minutes. The S-series and Z-series often need slightly longer, because curved displays and sealed housings call for more care. For water damage or board-level defects 1–2 working days. Book an appointment in advance so the spare part for your model is ready.
Is it worth repairing an older Samsung Galaxy?
Rule of thumb: a repair makes sense if it costs less than 50 % of the resale value. Galaxy A51 with display damage – repair €79, resale value approx. €120 → worth it. Galaxy S10 with cracked display – repair €99, resale value approx. €150 → worth it. Several defects at the same time → honest advice. We always tell you when buying new is the better option.
What's different about Z Fold and Z Flip repairs?
Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip have two displays (outer and inner) plus a complex hinge mechanism. The inner foldable display is particularly delicate – no hard screen protector possible. Spare parts are more expensive and rarer than for S or A models. Please give us a quick call before booking so we can confirm availability and the exact price.
Original Samsung display or aftermarket – what do you recommend?
For the S-series and A52/A53/A73 we clearly recommend original or OEM panels. Aftermarket AMOLED displays are often dimmer, show inaccurate colours and may fade after a few months. For LCD models like A10 or A21s the quality gap is smaller – OEM-compatible parts are good enough. We inform you transparently before the repair about which components we use.
Which Samsung models do you repair?
